CERES is a cyber-tactical space combat game, where you lead a squadron of ships in an exploration and battle-filled single-player campaign. Inspired by Homeworld, Elite and Paradroid, it features thorough ship customization, advanced cyber-warfare and elaborate space combat. Command your ships in a rich 3D environment, manage your crew and artificial intelligences, mine, explore and trade your way through multiple missions -while keeping clear of alien monsters, rogue machines and dangerous transhuman mutants.

I've been working on the GUI and ship commands of late and as always fixing minor bugs and tweaking the code. You can now target modules on enemy ship.

I've been working on the GUI and ship commands of late and as always fixing minor bugs and tweaking the code.You can now target modules on enemy ships. So for example, you can target the turrets on a ship to destroy its weapons, you can destroy the engine of a ship to leave it dead in the water(space) but still able to fire or you can target its power core and leave it powerless, that is if it survives the destruction of its power core... I'm planning to allow ships to be boarded and captured so disabling it first would be a good idea.Any structural damage now causes minor damage to all modules on a ship.
I believe I'm nearing the end of adding new features to the game. It's time to start making the game presentable and playable to all. I've started making specific mission related combat levels and I've also started creating more ship types in Blender using Shipwright so the the game is growing in appearance not just code.Currently I've decided to have the following types of ships:Drones, Caravel, Carrack, Corvettes, Frigates ,Cruisers, Heavy Cruiser and Dreadnoughts.
Hopefully I will make a few versions of each ship type to add some variety to the selection of ships.

I plan to add info onto the features site of this game page in the near future.
