Celaria is a first person parkour platformer with emphasis on fast and reactionbased gameplay. Use the enviroment and its different effects to your advantage and find a way to the goal as fast as possible.
It took nearly 8 years. But after all this time i can finally present to you the final version my longest running project:
"Celaria" is a first-person parkour platformer in which you run from the startpoint to the goal as fast as possible while utilizing your parkour-moveset (wallruns, walljumps, slides, rolls) to navigate through the enviroment.
Releasing a complete product after all those years is kind of surreal to me.
Developing this game was an amazing learning experience. Going from basic GML programming to learning about practical 3D math, collision detection to network/multiplayer programming (java),server backend development, shader programming (animation systems) and even going as far as learning C++ for low-level engine development (where i'm currently at.)
The only thing left to do is to release Celaria into the wild. Observer, gather feedback and use the knowledge to improve in the future.
We also got a discord server :P
All in all, thank you all for the great support i got over the years.
Added Serverbrowser for easy multiplayer access, added crosshairs, freecamera and a new discord community server.
Greenlit in 10 days, first community maps are released and some WIP screenshots for the mapsharing feature.
I finally made the step and submitted the game to Steam Greenlight. Take a look if you like fast paced parkour platformers. :)
