Cataclysm: New World Windows game

Cataclysm: New World is a 2d-esque adventure horror RPG. Instead of sticking with the RPG Maker "Standard," C:NW uses a different battle system that allows the player to move around the map, attacking enemies as desired. The player is no longer restricted to cutscene "pokemon" battles. Another feature not normally seen in 2d RPGs is the implementation of "Pixel Movement," which allows the player to move anywhere, instead of tile-by-tile.

The aim of C:NW is to show a life in an apocalypse. You may be thinking --- "I've seen this before! It's in like all the new games!" --- No, this is not one of the many games centered around an apocalypse. It's a new genre being revived with new combat and story. It will be a one of a kind gem, sort of like what you might find in your attic or closet.

The included images show a very basic "walkthrough" of the game, in case you need some guidance. The current plan for the game is to first make the maps, then make events. You may also notice that this is the RPG Maker Standard graphics. Well, the plan, after all the mapping and eventing is done, is to replace the current graphics with an all-new art style, unique from every other game out there.
