Black Talons is a real time tactics game set in the future, where the player leads a company of mercenaries stuck in a war torn star system. The player leads his forces from a battlecruiser where new troops and mechs can be recruited, trained and customized. As the commander of the company, the player must decide which missions to take, and carefully manage his reputation amongst all the existing factions.
The Northstar Legion is a conglomerate of pirates, cut-throats and mercenaries currently operating in Oberon.
Their leader is Jason Zentar, a famous mercenary and ex-soldier who was able to unite all the gangs under his command. The Legion gained notoriety after it united under Zentar’s command, becoming one of the largest paramilitary forces in the system.
Northstar members are mostly military veterans or deserters looking for greater profits.
