I was messing around in the editor with link blocks and platforms, since the possibility of a pink link block to, say, move a left-moving platform up and down, or back to the right, appealed to me.

When I set up a pink link block linked to a down-moving platform, the platform moved to stay at the same position relative to the link block. So far, so good. When I jumped on the platform to make it move, the platform showed it was primed to move several spaces, but stayed in the same position. I'm fine with that since that's relatively consistent with what we've seen so far of link blocks, plus the whole link block code thing that was mentioned in the multiple pink link blocks thread.

The bug is this:

After destroying the pink link block, the platform moves back to its original position at the start of the room. It also performs whatever pumped action it had prior to the link block being destroyed as it moved.

See the demonstration room:

When you destroy the pink link block linked to the stone block, the stone block drops straight down. When you destroy the pink link block linked to the platform, the platform moves back to the original column it was in (marked by the blue floor tile). If it was primed to move down before the pink link block was destroyed, it will both move horizontally to the original column and move downwards.

I would expect the platform to stay in whatever location it was in when the link block was destroyed, and execute whatever pumped actions it has - so the down-platform should just stay in its column and move downwards, instead of moving "back to the left."
