Artifact of the Accursed Windows game

Story Narrative:

Does anyone remember those cliche'd film noires from yester-year? I do. Its what basically sold me onto the police force. I worked my way up, just like anyone. A small fry in a big frying pan. Lots of ways to get burned and very few to make yourself a name. Granted, I'm still pretty new to this game, but then again I'm smarter then your average cannon fodder. This is something I'm sure the chief detective saw in me. Why else would he put such a strong case on my hands?

Basically, what it amounts to is some urban folklore. Some story about a strange ruby encrusted skull, voodoo witchcraft, and dead nazis. All the cliche's you'd ever need. I have to admit that it got me interested quick... especially with all this new dirt the chief was getting on it. I didn't know where this stuff was coming from, but the job was paying good... so I played good boy and kept my mouth shut.

The skull they had wanted me to retrieve was stolen not too long ago from the public museum down the road. I'm not too sure why the department wants it. Last time I interviewed the Head of the Museum, he bluntly told me he was glad the thing was stolen. According to him, weird tremors were occurring under the building ever since they inducted the piece. I think the guy is a loon, but that's just me.

So here I am, resting in my apartment; contemplating my progress. As soon as my phone rings, its back to work. I just need one solid lead and I have a feelings its coming.
