So this week I worked on implementing the visual portion of apprentices.
To give a quick summary, you can assign blood brothers to help out with crafting of specific disciplines. Any assigned blood brothers will give you a bonus to quality when you're using the appropriate building.
What I worked on this week is them appearing visually so you have a clear indication which buildings are going to give you a bonus. Ideally it'll be something obvious like the blood brother standing next to a tool and helping out.
However I wasn't able to come up with a generic looking solution that I liked, so I'm handling each of the 4 cases specifically.
Starting with the tailor
The tailor apprentice stands next to the cutting table and, well, cuts stuff. They are animated to stand idle whilst you're not working, but will get to work when you start.
The carpentry apprentice stands next to a tree stump and will chop wood whilst you're inside sawing.
So now I have two more buildings to handle, which I'll start next week, and then I'll start working on the Blood Brother companion.
