Indie developer studio Refinery Productions today announced the release of their first major content update for 2112TD. Arriving on both Android and iOS, it is free to anyone who owns a copy of the game. The update is packed with tons of features and the changes most requested by players, including many new research upgrades, achievements and a new game mode.

"Since launch we've been closely monitoring feedback, keeping an eye on what gets requested the most and what changes players would like to see. Our primary focus post-launch has been on the player's experience and we continue to look at ways to improve this where possible"

RESEARCH SYSTEM OVERHAUL AND EXPANSION
Built from the ground up, the new research system includes tons of new upgrades to unlock for air units, turrets and the command centre
COMMANDER EXPERIENCE LEVEL CAP INCREASED FROM 15 TO 50
Tech points are now awarded up to level 30 and 50 is the new cap
NIGHTMARE MODE
A place for seasoned commanders to put their new upgrades and skills to test. Can you defeat the elite forces of hell?
ACHIEVEMENTS AND COMMANDER STATISTICS
Commanders that excel on the battlefield will unlock achievements as a reward for their contributions in the struggle against the invaders.
BATTLE CONTROL MENU VISUAL OVERHAUL
The battle control menu has received a graphical overhaul to accommodate many requested quality of life features
GAMEPLAY REBALANCE AND QOL ADDITIONS
All game modes have received a rebalance to make way for the research overhaul. Tons of quality of life features and changes have been added.
