UI Glitches (Lingering Update and Mod Disappearance) Thread

Not sure who to contact regarding some issues with the site so I'll make it known here. I've had a problem with my "update" message box for a while now. It says I have 1 update at all times. Once I check it, the box is empty and then my updates go back to 0. After a few minutes and the site refreshes, I'll get 1 update again. Clearing cookies doesn't seem to work so I've been having to maneuver through the site ignoring this phantom update in my inbox for a while.

Another issue I've noticed just recently is that my mod category on my profile doesn't have my mod anymore, it's just gone. I can still access it and it stills says I'm the author but finding the mod via my profile just isn't an option anymore. Not sure if I need a site admin to have these things fixed so I'll leave these problems laid out here.

Guess I'm stuck with these issues then.

That phantom update issue is weird indeed, but the other one may be just wrong platform filters selected:

You have to make sure you have selected HOME or PC platform. This is about the only reason your mods or any other tab on your profile vanishes or is greyed out.

Didn't realize those were options but yes, it seems switching to Windows within the tab options brought my mod's visibility back.
Sadly the phantom update is one issue I'm trapped with.

Phantom update happens from time to time. We have a DB script that cleans them up once a month.

I've had this problem for several months now.

Found it, a deleted comment you were mentioned in. Next update will show that comment for you to clear.

Afraid it's still persistent.
