This is my concept for an CnC mod set in alternate universe where WW2 happened, but with many twists... Synopsis: in 18th Century the ruins of a civilization called Antediluvian are found all around the world starting a race between European powers, United States and even Japan to retrieve the incredible artifacts found inside them; leading to an unprecedented technological development that quickly caught the attention of national military industrial complexes whom exploit the Great War to test them on the battlefield. Almost 2 decades later Germany and its allies deeds bring the world to a new Great War and the experience obtained by the application of Antediluvian technology, will reach a new peak of death and destruction. Aesthetic: A mix of early-mid Cold War with retro futuristic elements. Factions: there are two main factions Axis and Allies, each one divided into nations with their own units and meta, though the type of units are more or less the same with their own unique gimmicks Allies British Empire French Republic Soviet Union Axis Kingdom of Italy Japan Empire Expansions Scorched Earth: Australia is on the brink of invasion; while China is on the brink of falling to the cause of its misfortunes 2 new campaigns and nations: ANZAC (hybrid units) and Chinese Empire (incendiary weapons) also new maps with heat-related gimmicks. The Old Shadow: WW2 is over and all nation involved come out weakened. A movement called International Front For Africa and Asia Liberation (IFFALL), or International Front in short, exploit the situation to start a bloody struggle to end colonial oppression, but its real purposes are beyond politics and self-determination... A new campaign for British Empire, French Republic and ANZAC set in Africa and Asia. The New Order: set in an Axis victory scenario, where the remnants of Soviet Union try to reunite Russia to expel German oppressor from its territories. |

Which C&C game? YR, RA2 or RA3? The synopsis and timeline seem a little iffy or confusing, it would suggest a 18th century mod, not a Cold War era one, and there is a ton of stretching of the unknown lore in-between. Would the Frogman unit be used by Japan instead of the French Republic? Gamer's intuition: Baba Yaga superweapon sounds utterly useless, especially if it has a visible-to-all-players superweapon timer... |

Oh, sorry, I assumed YR/RA2/RA3 since they have chrono miners already. Yes, it is a starting concept, and an 18th century mod was not suggested, only more info about the three centuries of your timeline (18th-20th), for example, were those Antediluvian relics secret or public knowledge, did they help civilian infrastructure or only military advances? What is the present year exactly? (2 decades after WWI?) That would depend on what the engine of C&C Generals would allow. Perhaps Baba Yaga could create an illusory army, copies of existing units that would be able to damage enemies and then (rather quickly) dissipate into thin air instead of being just a useless diversion? |

Consider this game as a spiritual successor to RA full of references to the original series but with a context which explain how such advanced technology exists. |

And V-Storm isn't and doesn't? Besides, would it be possible to give each faction two superweapons, one lethal and one nonlethal? (Yeah, design-wise it would require more effort and therefore would be harder.) |
