Intro

Hey there! Welcome to this week's roundup of the YouTube, where we covered an expansion LOTR mod and a great era total conversion!

Monday - Playthrough - Edain Mod

Battle For Middle-Earth II is still one of the best ways to inhabit Tolkien's world - a remarkable translation of the gigantic battles we saw in the books and on the big screen. Whatever might be missing is easily resolved with mods, as per usual - and Edain is one of the greats. Take Middle-Earth, your way, with your favourite heroes.

O Smaug the Tremendous

Wednesday - Shorts - Scarf

Scarf is deeply beautiful and deeply moving - a solid example of the power art style has in making an indie game stand out from the crowd. A singleplayer journey awaits, traversing beautiful worlds on an auditory adventure with remarkable orchestral elements. Multiple narrative layers are yours to unwravel in a quest built on personal accessibility.

Empire at War begins with a focus on the original trilogy era - the galaxy already in the grip of the Empire, with the Rebellion's struggle to liberate it. However, some prefer to go back in continuity a little to see how things came to be, and so the prequel era mod, Fall of the Republic, tackles this period of all-out war and moral ambiguity.

That's all for this round-up. What do you think about the mods listed? Feel free to discuss below and check out the YouTube for more videos past, present, and future!
