SFML is a portable and easy to use multimedia API written in C++. You can see it as a modern, object-oriented alternative to SDL. SFML is composed of several packages to perfectly suit your needs. You can use SFML as a minimal windowing system to interface with OpenGL, or as a fully-featured multimedia library for building games or interactive programs.

A short history of this project and where to find older stuff.

I've been developing Rocket Shipment since August 2018.

It started with an itch to play a lunar lander game. I used to play "Crazy Gravity" when I was a kid, and I never really found a game like it afterwards.
Rocket Shipment is heavily inspired by "Crazy Gravity", but is also heavily influenced by my own fantasies of what would make the game more fun.

The general idea is to find colored crates and deliver them on the same colored platfom. Once all crates have been correctly delivered, the player should land back on the home platform and the level will be complete.
However, the weight of the crates makes it more difficult to fly, there might be routes that are blocked by locked doors that need keys, or alien tech might try to take your ship down.

In Rocket Shipment you are the delivery guy, flying a spaceship, puzzling you way through caverns.

Since I discovered IndieDB a bit late, I have a lot of older devlog posts of my progress on Itch, in case you're interested.

All future posts will also be posted here.

Here's the latest progress I made for shooting a cable to connect to a crate:
