Description
This is the relaunch of SCUD Storm! Completley revised, balanced, with hundreds of new features added. Note this is still a BETA version and frequent releases will be made public. New commander system: Enter a purchase zone, press Q. This will bring up the PT. The commander can build buildings buy selecting the buildings from the menu with numbers 2-4, changing the buildings in the menu with button 1 and purchase upgrades with 6-9.

doesn't work
I downloaded it, only when i click the game to play it doesnt work.
You are all right it doesnt work. I looked into it and its a simple solution (for those familiar with register keys)
First:
Start -> Run -> "regedit" (without "")
Then go to:
HKLM -> Software -> Westwood -> Renegade
There you find a key called 'Shaders'.
Double click it and set its value to 0.
SOLVED ^^
PS. I think the wrong/older DLL has been packed :O

this error is caused by a problem we got using shaders which is not solved yet.
yeah i can't find the shaders key. is it just in renegade or a certain subfolder under a different name because i can't find it
Like he said, go into renegade, then into options, then BHS.dll options and untick the shaders box.
look at HKLM->Software->FinalWar->ScudStrm
this should be the one used by Scud-Storm.
Set Shaders to 0

Mine was already at 0 and it still aint work as it should, when i try tutorial, it just quit with no message after loading.

okies I got it they actually mean start renegade not scud-storm and change the .dll options in options then scud storm will work.
i still cant get it.
maby it has something do with that i cant find bhs.dll options.
In Renegade, go to options. Then click on BHS.DLL options. If you do not see it there then something is very strange.
I own the Origin version, could that be why I can't get my game to work?
FIX/MAKE A NEW .DLL FILE THAT FIXES THE PROBLEM AND PUT IT UP FOR DOWNLOAD. please.

I got it to work, you should just trash the game and make it a building sandbox instead. That's the only thing that's fun and/or works.
The game is hardly "balanced", it's not even functional. I defeated the enemy and the game didn't even end.
You also can't use the purchase terminal if you had changed to another character.
You need to rethink the AI gameplay comment.

Never mind. I downloaded it from another mirror and it came up as an .msi so it is all solved.
Still aint workin even with shaders on 0.
If you can't start practise game, try to create a network game. Worked for me.
Who want to play through hamachi? Beta is horribly disbalanced, but have funny gameplay.

In that case upgrade your Renegade to 3.4.4, then it should be there.
how do you access the command mode? i have been trying to press q at the area surrounding the command center but no chance.
When should the shaders problem be fixed. I have been looking into other games but they don`t seem as cool as this one. i cant find bhs.dll or any others. when i open the program it turns black and then the window shrinks and thats all. i`ve already trashed it too. i need help

We are working on a solution to this ASAP. If you have C&C: Renegade fire that up, go to Options -> BHS.DLL options and then untick the shaders box. If you can't see BHS.DLL on the options menu then download the scripts 3.4.4 update from Ren.game-maps.net

It's an installer mate. You run it and keep on clicking next.

i haven't slept in 3 days because i've been up trying to figure out how to fix it so i can play it.
It's not that good. Wait for the next version I guess may be the only option. These builds will hopefully be frequent enough.
