wotokah is a 3-person Indie gamedev team from Zurich, Switzerland. We decided to work together, to make a game for the Oculus Rift, in 2012. Our first game, "Black Island", is an open world horror game for the Oculus Rift. We are excited to have worked with the Oculus Rift since it was available to developers. In "Black Island", you have to navigate a tropical island to complete objectives, while avoiding to get cought by the beings inhabitating the island. Only by completing your quest, you can escape the island again. Our team is made of two game designers and one sound designer. The game designers (Janina & Sebastian) worked on the visuals and programming, basically putting everything "Black Island" together in the end. The sound designer (Dragica) was reponsible for designing the sounds, which are a very big part of every horror game. We hope to release "Black Island" on Halloween 2013 and, depending on the success of the game, we can continue to work on more projects.
