STARTUP GAMES is an independent games development studio primarily based in Portsmouth, England. Founded in 2010 by University of Portsmouth students, the team are eager to make their mark in the growing games industry. Recently we have evolved into a truly international development studio with our development team operating in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America.
The word STARTUP in our name doesn’t just state that we are a “start-up” studio, but we’re a studio finding new ways to produce titles our audience will enjoy. Our goal as a studio is to develop content that immerses the player into new worlds; worlds which deliver unique experiences that are created thorough story, immersive gameplay and diverse art styles.

Hi, about the volunteer unity programmer proposal of yours, what experience do you expect by a possible candidate?
What kind of game do you plan to start on?

Hi, sorry for the late reply to your question. The game in question is an action title with platforming elements however we have now filled the role with a talented Unity programmer based in the States. We will be releasing more information about the game over the coming months via our website and likely recruiting further talent to our team here at IndieDB. Obviously we can't let the cat out of the bag atm with the title being early in development but rest assured it is a very real thing and we can't wait to share it with you in due time.
