Description
This map is a big shopping center with many stores like an arcadehall, a tattoo shop, a bar, a bonsaishop, an internet cafe, a bongshop:), a skateshop and some othere shops. There also placet alot of graffitis in the map for the great view of it. In the floors around the shops are some skateboard movers. Half dead missed to refill the ut textures in the retail version but its ok so far. Big thx to him for converting it. I will rework the maps as far as i get my kf version.

Nice to see Shopping-Center-Final here as it's one map I've rotated on my server since the beginning and it's always been a crowd pleaser.
Yep i saw it gets played alot on many server via gametracker.
this map was very popular in the mod, and it is very popular in the retail, so i would be very proud to be the maker of this map.

Personally I don't like this map. It feels so cramped, despite being so huge...I dunno, it feels lifeless is all.
I like the skateboards ! i use to stand on them all the time and shooting ugly monster .. now that is fun!
Lol yeah, that part is cool, the problem is if you bump into anything it auto throws you off. That long hall is really un-balanced though, it's almost impossible to loose using it.
Well first thx for your great comments and rating (hater Mkil) :) The map is not perfect thats sure but it got a nice gameplay. I respect your opinion but do you really just came here to say the map is bad then better say nun and write some to maps you like is my opinion. Anyway the map gets played bigtime as you can see on gametracker. A fact is there is nun other custom map so far that gets played that much on all of the server. Just go for fun to gametracker order by mapname do that time by time you will agree. Anyway so when it gets played that much it cant be to bad. I already heard that comment bout the skateboard that you fall of. It would be possible to give it a damage like maby 1000 so you crush the speciments with it other way there is no way to do it. But keep in mind its a skateboard not a car. But you might like my new map that got a car with exactly 1000 damage level. Watch out for KF-Arcade-Gas-Station. Peace

Ok I'm going to be honest, it is the first ever custom map that I played and it was a bit disappointing. I think it's down mainly to the textures you used. It was all a bit grim and not "shopping centre like" should I say. But yea it was quite fun, but you know the raw kinda fun, nothing fancy just kill everything that had no clothes on :), your gas station one looks more like an improvement. I'll try it out.
This is probably one of the worst community created maps.
Even the trader door isn't closed during waves.
It's also too easy... i usually find myself on skateboards trying to avoid boredom and hoping to meet some zombies (and i only play on 'hard' difficulty servers... I guess there should be more spawn areas to make it harder.
By the way, why isn't it converted by the author already? I'm sure it would work out better than having some random noob converting it.
This map you see here is created by me for the 2.5 mod. A guy called Half dead convertet the map for steam. He said he isnt that good as a mapper and i wasnt around to do it at that time. So he missed to fix some textures, missed to replace some main static meshes the where basic for the view of the map. The map also then had shadows of static meshes that didnt even existet any more cause he not even clicked on the build button. But still it got played much and it was cool of half dead to make it playable. But now im back and i already reworked this map for steam. Its called KF-Arcade-Shopping-FIN and i hope you like it. B4 you judge it play it at least. But i think i keep this version of the map also in here cause some ppl like it and then why shouldnt they have it.
okay ive played the FIN version too now and it's indeed better than before.
Still not my taste tho.... it's seems more like a 10p map than 1-6p map.
