Strategy Tycoon Game - Staff Get Wages news

STAFF WAGES ARE HERE
This is a huge apdate for the game, staff have been waiting to get paid and this update puts and end to their troubles. Staff wages have only ever been taken off your account every month, if you are playing with day/night and seasons on. Early access is planned for 2023, until then get the Demo and follow the game here on IndieDB or at the citrus2D dev channel to be kept informed.

Otherwise there was no wages for your staff as it was a pemaday, well thats now all changed. A set time for wages to come off is now in place, YES!!!, another level of deep strategy lovelyness to get your teeth into. When you close your park your staff will leave and return when you open your park again.

You can set your staff wages per hour but this is yet to have an impact on sales from the retail outlets. I will be making it so that the better you pay your staff the better sales staff they become. You will notice when wages are paid as a grey * will appear above the park manager with the total amount of park wages that have been paid.

EFFECT ON STRATEGY

Ive not fully tested how this impacts the strategy side of the game but im looking forward to seeing how it effects the gameplay over the coming weeks. More is to be added to the money tab with graphs etc, this will make it easier to see if your park is profitable or not.
Im trying to balance the rather slow pace of nature with trees growing and you building a park with some more dynamic moments that give some surrealness to the expereince. I have planned to use the night time for a lot of these dramas to unfold and hope to get some added in now that basic park security are in and patroling your park.

Ive hit a nice point in development where the core of the game is in and working, say 85%. What remains is the golden zone where I can add in additional features and experiment with them. Its taken three years to get it this far so I think any rush now would kind of defeat the vibe.
Other updates include an edit to the nightime post process so the night is now looking a lot better than it did. So there are a lot of nice updates in the Demo update to get your teeth into and I hope the followers to the game enjoy them.
