I am a 22 years old composer/musician/sound and audio engineer based out of Soctland who is, although new to the industry, passionate about being involved in indie games development. I'm currently working on building up a portfolio of completed projects and conceptial music for various genres in the gaming industry, and am more than interested in getting involved with teams within the industry and working to create innovative and excellent music.

Good morning/evening/night! I thought I would start of my fisrt blog post describing who I am;

I am a 22 year old musician and composer who is beginning to focus more on writing music now than playing it, as composing has really started to become a passion for me over the years. Often times I find myself sitting for several hours, simply listening to game music, learning from and adapting ideas to create innovating and new musical concepts - though in past times I haven't much used the music that I wrote. But now, I want to change that.

I am first and foremost a composer, capable of writing in many genres to a high standard. I have quite the perfectionist streak, usually meaning that I will spend hours making sure the pieces of music I write are of both excellent quality and are fit for purpose - work which I enjoy a lot. Most of my composing experiance comes from work with theatre companies; a strange position from which to enter into the game development scene, however after working as a composer/audio engineer for the Ludem Dare game What's Inside?" (Wolv-interactive.itch.io), I found that I have a passion for working in the games industry. So here I am; currently I'm working to build up a portfolio of finished scoring and SFX work, as I look forwards to the new oppertunities and excitement that I'm sure the indie game scene, and the wider gaming community, will bring.
