And yeah, of course, we'll be bringing back all the elements that made RTS games fun, such as characteristic units ( making every unit different and giving them recognizable proprieties ) and not to forget our beloved walls ( bringing back the ability to make whole fortresses for people who loved turtle battles )

As for the terrain, I have already thought about it. We will definitely include it in the future since it'll play a big role in the strategy.
I already have something really similar implemented which isn't really that different from it, but if this really causes problems then I might just use real LUA =)

uh... well we ARE borrowing some mechanics from supcom ?!? ....
We're not really making a remake. We're trying to create a whole new game that will follow the flow of the old Westwood games ( gameplay wise ).
My own custom one using XNA =)
But it doesn't mean that I'm limited to it, I might port it to a more multi-platform framework in the future =)
