Hello everyone,

I'd like to share with you some information about my game, Interstellar defence troops (IDT).
I've been making it for about 2 years of my spare time.

Game features:

  • Four game modes 'Battles', 'Survival', 'Rush', 'Waves'
  • Four levels of difficulty
  • Enemy attacks from all directions (no fixed routes)
  • Game research tree
  • Game bonuses: 'Damage', 'Fire rate', 'Defence', 'Mass heal', 'Orbital strike', 'Death rays'
  • Two camera modes FreeLook & RTS
  • No resources for killing enemies, you have to mine minerals and build power plants
  • Game speed control (faster, slower, pause)
  • Game tutorial

Technical side:

  • Engine: Ogre3D + my game framework
  • Scripts: Lua, ToLua++
  • GUI: CeGUI
  • Sound: OpenAL
  • Input: OIS
