We are aware of this. However we are waiting to see if Valve fix/breaks that fix themselves.

Steam is free and you no longer need a purchased game from valve to download the sdk to play our mod. You could tell your friends that. You don't need hl2 anymore, only steam platform and a download in the 'tools' area.
Most gamers know a local LAN. If you get some buzz happening once 4.2 is out we would appreciate knowing about the results. If we can get into LANs all over the world we will be ripe to retain better numbers than our huge downloads often suggest. Every move you make helps us so get out there when the time comes!
We take our cues from the game, more than the movies with guns since they are so iconic.
I'd say likely in time. But the character model may be based on our dev head concept.

2 of our 30+ servers have players in them right now 10+ in each. The availability is there, the people should act, not 'speak' about how no one plays it as some baseless excuse ;)

Anyone curious to hear his work in our mod, GoldenEye: Source, if you've played it you've heard his weapon sounds! He created half of them in the dropped beta product. He was a talent always thinking outside the box to making his passion realized, I liked working with him to get the best sounds for the goals we had for sound design. Good times =D

Ask yourselves this.. Has GoldenEye: Source ever not been on the cutting edge of pushing valve's source engine in the modding scene.
First mod to release with achievements. First to use python to simplify our dynamic game-modes, and use it well for python scripters to have a field-day.
Is this a sign of continuing that ground breaking tradition of always pushing the envelope. Well..You decide ;)

See above. Our summary now has a large image and the link you go to is where you find out if you own a game that can run GoldenEye: Source. Then if you own one, go into your steam tools and install "source sdk base 2007". If any of that isn't clear head to the link killermonkey gave below on this page of comments!

Please uncheck "showmaplist" it is buggy as hell thanks to valve in mods. Also unfilter everything. You may have to play on 100+ ping but with GE:S that is not too bad compared with 90% of other games.
Thanks! Me too, I'm having fun playing with all the fans new and old. I say we get a few more thousand opinions like yours and we got some server troubles we'd have to deal with.

Which ragdoll bug would that be? We've not heard this claim before.
Try to look around, there is many times it's mentioned. However for you I will answer this. Yes there will if we can manage it. We hope, and plan to do the SP as a natural transition when MP is complete (it isnt yet).
Only time will tell if we can pull it off and the team of 20 will need to expand to get it done. That's one hurdle to keep in mind :P
Steam has a laundry list for developers that we would not like to be dictated to. Our team wants total control over our content and releases. Delays are common for steamworked mods. Our PR capability would be limited by their schedule.
We feel the only upside would be stat tracking, which we can do by ourselves in time anyway. Downloads and making the mod visible in this release has clearly shown 'our way' to be as, if not more powerful, to what steamworks would do.
We can't for legal reason. We also would choose not to be on steamworks. Personal reasons. There has already been over 80,000 downloads of the mod , so we have enough interest. Servers popularity depend on fans and all the new players continuing to get in game each day! Do your part for GE:S
Multiplayer, for now. SP is a possibility down the line. The team needs to finish MP anyhow so all the maps/characters/features are ready for SP coding/animating.
Thanks. You should view the edit to the latest news! We have a video that is aiming to bring in people who are on the fence about our game. You can support us by making a positive comment on youtube. Everyone help us out on this! Lets spread the word there is more to inform.
Also games like CS:S and TF2 often go on sale in the holidays and you can sometimes get em for 5/7/9$..even 9$ for those games and knowing you'll get access to GE:S is a good investment ;)
