There are more detailed descriptions of solutions available on our discord than what I can give here for this. But restarting PC, making sure the game is patched to 1.001 are common solutions.

You might have a file named rulesmd.ini in your directory, or any expandmd.mix that isn't 01, 02 and 03.
You need Yuri's Revenge patched to 1.001, so yes, you need Red Alert 2.
This is a renderer issue, change the renderer in the options menu of the client.
On our discord we got 3 solutions for this problem, usually this can be fixed by a computer restart. Discord.gg
Change renderer in the options menu.
You probably have an a file named expandmdXX.mix where XX is any number between 04 and 99, delete or rename these files. And while you're looking, delete or rename a file named rulesmd.ini if you got one in your directory.
Syringe.exe is what injects Ares into gamemd.exe upon launch, extending the features of the engine, fixes bugs, etc. Due to the nature of the program (injects code into things) it often gets picked up by anti-virus programs.
This appears to be a result of having your own rulesmd.ini in the mods folders. This should be fixed by renaming or deleting the file. You could also have the file in an expandmd.mix, so you might wanna delete any of those with a number higher than 3. So if you have an expandmd04.mix then you delete or rename that.
Yes, it was deemed to break the missions due to unintentional units. However, in a future update, the function will be restored to the easy and medium difficulties.
Currently there is no fix for this exact bug other than the advice to just restart your computer until it works again.
Hello,
You accidentally played with a loose rulesmd.ini file in your directory can overrode the mods rulesmd.ini which resulted in these missions (and others you might not have noticed) being broken.
You should thereby be able to fix this by deleting or renaming your rulesmd.ini, if you don't have said file you could also see if you have any files named expandmdXX where "XX" is any numbers other than "01" "02" and "03"
We can't include the game for the mod, you'll have to copy over your files from a legit install of the game to play.
You most likely have a file named "ra2md.csf" in your game directory, delete it or rename it to anything else and it should work properly.
Since we haven't made and added the flipped YR missions, it didn't make a lot of sense to have the vanilla YR missions.
And the vanilla RA2 missions seem to have some strange bugs that we were unaware of.
Often restarting your computer fixes this. It could be a problem with your anti virus and syringe.exe as well.
Change the renderer in the options menu.

Sounds like you got a .NET framework problem, you need .NET 4.0 for XNA (Windows XP) and .NET 4.5 for the others. If you have these installed and it still doesn't work then try repairing them using the installer if that's an option.
Change the renderer in the options menu of the client.
You might be missing gamemd.exe or you might wanna try running in admin mode?
Usually restarting your computer fixes this.
Change renderer in the options menu?
It does sound like it's some render related problem, if you join the discord and ping me I could send you an updated version that might work better.
Usually restarting your computer fixes this
You install in an unmodified v1.001 RA2YR directory.
And you're sure gamemd.exe is in the same folder you installed fm into?
Is something broken with your clientdefinitions.ini in the resources folder?
Psychic beacons don't capture units in this mod, you must have some other mod files in your folder, delete any loose rulesmd.ini, and if you got any any expandmd.mix that isn't 01, 02, and 03, delete it.
