Hi,

Humm ... using pitch effect (octava) for this kind of stuff is a way to do ...
May be you should try to resample your recording (44 100 hz → 20 000 hz for example)the result is a little "more natural", (Although the recording duration will be shortened ...)
Just my opinion and a little tip!

Interesting project ...
I'd like to give you my opinion about your BGM, ('cause I'm an audio guy):

I invite you to tell your composer, whose composition skills are sure, not to use too much expressive instruments as lead voice (foreground), on virtual production ... because, unfortunately, the rendering of a virtual violin (the accused) doesn't work as well as it should.
If he and your dev' team absolutely want "lead" violin for this track, East West Gypsy violin has a better rendering (for a virtual instrument). You also could record this part ^^!

It's not so hard to tell this, 'cause it's bad not to tell the truth !(^ _ ^ )
But, there's often a but!, I only gave my opinion on general positive points ... and Actually I'd like to share with you an impression about one of the ingame music:
The battle track (just my opinion!) could be more efficient or dynamic.
(I find it pretty "flat").
I'll see more something link this:

Not because I composed it, but because it's a little more thrilling for battle's moment. (Although the style_too much acoutic instruments_of this track wouldn't suit)

Once again, and that's what have to be kept in mind:

This track works well ...
That being said, I know mix is a personal stuff, But I think that, when it appears with the theme, the snare drum hit on the 3rd beat is a little too loud.
(Just my opinion)

The hud looks quite complete ...
And, that's just my humble opinion, the gameplay seems pretty slow for the moment ... may be you could make it more dynamic (controls/moves)?
