That person was me, and it was an elaborate attempt to try and regain interest in this mod. It failed, I quit, and started fourtress. Fourtress is to be nothing of the sort of game Neoforts and Sourceforts are, though, so if your interest is in such games as them, we have nothing to offer for you, except spiritual similarities, which even then are being overwritten by the hour...

Oh, I'm sorry, do these maps not please you? I spent a fair lot of time on them ( Including maps you haven't seen yet, and... well, except maybe for TreeTub, it's a joke map )... And honestly dude, you've never even played our 1.80 alphas, you have NO IDEA if we are like Sourceforts or not. Wait till you see more of our stuff before you judge. Right now you just sound ignorant.

I could understand where you get that from though, the mapper could make Neoforts a lot like Sourceforts with minimal effort, as both have the core concept of fort construction. But nevertheless. If you played one of our internal releases you'd find it to play entirely different.

We didn't rip off sourceforts at all, we're pursuing entirely different ideas.

If you think about it, you could even say sourceforts ripped of Garry's Mod with the freezable objects...

We're considering any release 1.80+ as Neoforts 2, as it is basically a completely different game.

Actually, the leader, Nick, was once a Sourceforts developer. We didn't rip them off, some of us helped create them. And really, wait until you see version 180 before you make such incorrect remarks. You have no idea of the features that this new version will have. It's really a complete overhaul.

You can freeze objects by yourself.

It is not popular because the past releases have been pretty buggy, atleast past 1.70. It used to have a good base of players.
