My name’s Mark Johnson. I used to be a professional poker player, but these days I’m a Ph.D student at the University of York and the creator & developer of ‘Ultima Ratio Regum’, a roguelike game. I am currently working on a demo intended to show the complexity of the combat and the intelligence of the AI, which contains a number of concepts I’ve rarely seen in other roguelikes.
