так я и написал в названии файла, что это рип с QC. и попробовать интересно было как более хайпольная модель загрузится и будет выглядеть.
по поводу обхода полигонов - я там удалял часть модели и модель загрузилась, там лимит повышен поликов. а вот в q2xp не загрузилось, там лимит в 8 тыс поликов, чтобы влезть - надо модель бить на куски, т.е. на несколько частей. и тогда можно будет загрузить. а это я уже не пробовал, как-то времени нет.
you need to create folder:
\steamapps\common\Quake II RTX\baseq2\models\weapons\v_rail\
and put files from archive in this folder. and thats all

Working with Nvidia was great, but i cant say a lot about this - nda and all such stuff. And its cool to see my models in such big project.

i made few tests, i can sonvert my models to md2, but their verticles flow as a jelly, like at original game and models.

why not? if you want to change sounds - its not a problem. or you can even change sound engine, like at q2xp mod for more realistic sound.

its the same model material with different lighting.
main problem for me - this highpoly hand look like low-poly. in that case maybe its better just to fix old hand model - add polygons and new texture.
i think, it's better to post at single weapons atm. i want to make pack with new hands, but im still working at them.
