The problem is windows and OneDrive. However, it took me ten minutes to fix.

Always liked the design, lovely variants! The design is very much plausible, a more practical version of the Great Helm and Sugarloaf, one that isn't a big bucket.

Wait... Animations!? My goodness!

The best looking armor set getting more love. Bethesda did an excellent job creating the perfect "what-if" viking full plate suit, and you made an excellent job implementing it here and using it the way it should; en masse for badass mead-drinkers!

Fun fact: The unsullied wear Polish winged hussar helmets (szyszak).

These look more eastern though.

I never disliked the standard hovertank model, but I love the camo skins on this one. Very sexy looking! Maybe mods will one day let them coexist... As in blowing eachother up!

If you spam these and attack an enemy base on the other side of an ocean, make sure you pump up Hellmarch to max volume!

If the nords are still around, will the bottom right helmet be standard issue for them? It was the typical infantry helmet design for Swedish troops during the era.

I was talking about a bad mod that promised renaissance warfare (though, funnily enough, some of these trends are seen in others as well). Maybe you should read through my comment before oppressing opinions about it.

And yes really, that mod focused on the crusades both in south and north (no Hussites in sight), and everyone wore a bucket for a helmet. It was a mess.

My favorite is the one most accurate to the new icon, really nice details there. I think the rams on the others could use some more shading as they look a bit blank. Using the black for catapult ships for now, makes it easier to identify those beasts!

For future ancient ships I recommend some kind of symbol or pattern on the sails, perhaps reusing the default ones (some of which were really cool, I might add). For the medieval ones, I would probably go for heraldric symbols, like those in my old (though recently released) skin pack.

I love how well the Assault Trooper skin goes together with the Sentinel GDI skin, will look great together in any scenario!

It is truly sad that this is an editor/scenario only unit. It would have added some kind of variety to late game if it played the role of an upgraded bazooka instead of just being a stinger soldier with different model which it is now.

The Babylonian one is my favorite, with the Canaanite close second. Babylon is my favorite default ancient faction so these are awesome!

By the way, where did you find the hourglass-shaped shield design? I am not sure if I've seen that before.

Great work as always!

Renaissance mods are too often muddied with knights templar and guys still wearing buckets for helmets for no reason, but this actually looks promising. Looking forward to it!

I am the type who likes to handcraft every single detail, but I don't mind the inspiration. Furthermore, I know a buttload of people who would absolutely love this. Amazing work and great idea!

But currently they are the same boring medieval cities as in the base game, in disrepair and without any flavor. They are based on rome, rome's architecture is cool, so that is why I mentioned that.

Great mod, hope to updates to the Empire cities, I don't like them looking all dilapitated and not-so roman.

NeoGAF was a large game community site, with news, reviews, forums, etc. It was infamous for it's heavy regulation, extreme anti-gamer propaganda and highly questionable higher-ups. It came crashing down when it turned out the tyrant in office turned out to be pervert. Not to mention, one of the moderators turned out to be a pedo before this, but had less impact. Funny how things turn out.

Just because there are fantastical creatures in it doesn't mean suspension of disbelief should not be upheld. I mean, you don't see knights charging around with plastic spoons now, do we? I mean, if anything goes because of fantasy elements they could have just filmed it in Los Angeles with no costumes and cars for horses!

But with that said, I honestly don't see the impracticality in this armor at all. He should have pointed out what he meant, but he didn't. Sounds more like he wanted to sound important.

I am wondering if you may release your current batch of work as-is. With your current issues on the hardware side of things, it seems like the best way to keep them alive in case something happens.

I don't mean you necessarily need to make them public, but it seems the safest way for them to rest in relative safety is to upload them somewhere.

I consider this mod a must now having tried it. What it does to space is extremely important for gameplay to be fun in that age and some units now able to fire at air is great. Some notes:

-Needs rebalancing early on. Celtic Warrior is severly overpowered (highest shock stats + terrain walk for low price) and so is egyptian warrior.
-Roman units (legionary, standard and centurion) should be available exclusively in the dark age, for historical accuracy (it being the closest thing to iron age) and balance.
-Some additional editor only units would be welcome. Spanish Cavalry and Persian Immortal especially (as they work well for the default factions of their respective periods)

I am working on renaming everything in the game to having historically accurate names. Tell me if you want this added to the game or as an addon!

I think that would make it look too much like an undead dragon. I think a solution to make it more malevolent-looking is to arch the feathers downwards a bit (instead of them going straight outwards).
