Friend just gifted me the St. Patricks Day Bundle....Hard Reset Rocks! DLC Quest is fun as well, and I am about to try out Jolly Rover.
No I actually didn't because I know what a Pirate box is, I didn't feel the need to click the link. I figured you were just calrifying that I meant what you thought. Since I knew that I knew what I meant that you thought I didn't click.
Damn what a mind bender that statement was. ;)
I feel that a PC is the superior gaming machine. With the so called "millions of buttons" you mention it makes for a much more versatile and immersive gaming experience and increases in precision. With a mouse you can adjust DPI and movement speeds, and with a good keyboard you can create macros to do a myriad of in game tasks, if supported of course. With a controller on a console all you really do is pick which button you want to do what and then you are still limited with how many actions you can truly perform because a controller has a very small number of buttons and interaction capabilities.
I am also perplexed at your statement; as you mod PC games...
Yes, but the Rasberry Pi won't directly be the Pirate Box it will be an addition, it is going to be a larger scale mesh-net project. The idea of creating a mobile mesh-net server of sorts using the primary ideas and design behind a Pirate box. The wife and I don't expect it to work the way we are thinking, but the cost of the Rasperry Pi makes this an experiment too hard to pass up.
One is going to be for an enhanced Pirate box experiement the wife and I have in mind and the other will be a mobile media/file server for when we are on go and what ever other experimental whims we might have.
I enjoy it as a great break between games, game. Fire up Dead Meets Lead, play a level or two offing some zombies and back to what I was doing before.
Did either of you pre-order/reserve one? I personally put in a request for a B board from two different vendors.
.49cent games on Google Play(Google renamed the Android Market to Google Play) right now! Grab them while they last. I snatched up Dead Space, Shadowgun, and Modern Combat 3.
I love seem these Homages to old classics, so I whole heartedly agree with you. I love to see that it is available for Linux as well.
I know very few people that like it and most C&C purists I know dislike it.
Your video adapter is your bottleneck. Though not ideal, as you will have to spend more money, you can pick up a Radeon HD 6670 for around 90 dollars. That should help considerably.
I will assume by budget you mean that you can spend up to 250 dollars to fix this problem. In which case you can get a Radeon HD 6870 for around 200 dollars. If you would like to try an Nvidia card let me know and I can make reccomendations there too.
This is pretty sweet, I am gonna have to go by some laminate card stock for this. Finally put some legit use to the Office grade printer we have at the house.
I know it's the Black Sheep of the C&C Universe, but I am a big time fan of Renegade. Anyone else ever play the Red Alert MP Mod for Renegade?
All of it really depends on the rest of your system build. You can either reply here or PM me, I will be able to help you in some capacity.
Time Crisis and Virtual On have been some of my Arcade all time favorites. My current Arcade love is the Terminator Salvation game.
Is anyone else as excited as me about MechWarrior Online and MechWarrior Tactics?
Atrix 4G here! Love this thing, so versatile. I can actually do school and office work with it!
I love Zombie games, and this is no exception. I like the team aspect of it. I have not gotten real deep in it, but I would like to see some kind of orders issuance system because the "mob mentality" of the Squad AI (i.e. all three of my other guys will always all attack the exact same enemy even when there are multiple hostiles) is troublesome to me. If an orders system exsists and I missed it I am sorry. I also notice a bit of lag in the games response to my mouse movement however. I am not sure if you are aware of any one else experiencing this problem.
