He did a lot of cool tracks for songs that most people look over when they want to make a fan cover. There's a billion covers for Megalovania, but VERY few for, well, Alphys' lab.

Can you give me the default directory, by any chance? Since this seems to be a common issue, it would be worth updating the Installation instructions.
Have you tried turning it off and then on?
Sorry, my little ****** joke, but in all seriousness you're gonna have to give me more to go on than that. The mod comes with installation instructions. Have you gone through those? And do you know where your Undertale files are stored?
I don't know if it's any different on Windows 10, but the default path for Windows 7 is listed in the instructions (C > Programs (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Undertale)
Youtube name is InfernalLawyer. Proof enough for ya, DeathNinja?
I've had a couple of suggestions that I should reaaaaally get around to, so maybe within the month, plus I have a backlog of tracks that I should probably also add to the alternatives for anyone who wants to swap stuff out.
As for Credits, I've not seen any covers that I think are really improvements of the original, but I may dump one in the "alternatives" track.
Don't count on most of the sound effects being swapped, as many of them are hidden deep in the data.win file. In order to change those, I'd either have to ask modders to go through some INCREDIBLY fiddly steps that I myself can barely wrap my head around, or upload custom versions of the file, which unfortunately would be borderline piracy since anyone with GameMaker Studios could then use it to access the game for free (or at least so I hear).
Appdata? That sounds like where the save files are stored.

You might be using an older version of this mod: I think I recall this being an issue a while ago (Ah, yes, I remember, I found it while recording the showcase videos), but it's long since been patched.
I think I now understand why developers are much more strict in labeling their software builds and making sure customers are using the latest version XD Thanks anyway!
Which part are we talking about? I am aware that there's a VERY specific part of the song that I can't mod (in the transitioning scene after the stages where he savescums on you), but there shouldn't be flat-out silence in any part of his song.
Right above this comment section is "files". Click on "undertale Music Mod V1.10", then click the "download now button".
Hope this helps!
I'm always worried that people won't find the songs thematically appropriate, even ignoring personal taste of certain genres (be thankful that I didn't give you a Death Metal version of Heartache XD).
Is there any chance you could be more specific, as in song by song? I'm planning on updating the build in a manner of days, so it would be good if you could help me out before then!
Define "not working". Are certain tracks slowed down or something?
In the music mod I'm making, (The fan cover one on this site, yay blatant advertising), I've noticed that a lot of songs have to be sped up or slowed down in order to work. It's a right hassle.
This is late, but I've finished doing a few of the tracks. I'll be working on the ones that need extra work to fit in properly soon.
You're going to need a program like Winrar to unpack it.
Download the most up-to-date version in your preferred language, open the file with Winrar. There will be a text file inside with further instructions. Hope this helps!
Hell, I'm pretty sure it'll be listed in the Credits file I planted with the mod too.
It's always nice to have a fan ;)
You could have just looked in the comments section lel. Anyway, It's by Nirre. Pretty damn sweet, eh?
Papyrus' dialogue seems a little... off.
Dunno if it's due to subpar writing, or a deliberate attempt to make him seem suspicious. Still, I kind of like it.
This is ambitious. I'll be watching this one!
It sounds nice on paper, but like I said a lot of the music was picked for being appropriate in theme. Coming from a huge fan of heavy metal and other types of rock, I don't think most people would appreciate it if what used to be a sombre track suddenly turned into ear-screeching death metal or heavy electronic synthetic.
Or maybe that's just an excuse for someone who has no idea how to make such a randomization feature? Hell if I know.
It's literally just a copy/paste replacement of several music files. There's one folder with most of the music which gets copy/pasted over into Undertale's files. Remember to back up the original files!
There is no randomization happening. All of the files in the first folder were handpicked and carefully selected according to (my personal taste in) quality and thematic appropriateness. If you want to get a Heavy Metal cover of Heartbreak, you can find one in the SECOND folder of alternative tracks easily enough and copy/paste it over (though you will have to rename the file to match the music you want to replace. Don't worry, the instructions will help you with this).
The mod comes with a text file with instructions. Really, it's a simple enough copy/paste job, as long as you know where the files for your Undertale game are.

I honestly have no idea how this got here, or who this creator "Bobbymax" is.
That heavy electronic stuff has never been my cup of tea, but I'm doing this for you guys, so I'll see if I can't have some of those in the Alternative folder by the end of the week.
Anything for that 1000th download...
Darn that credits file! That's always the last thing to get updated.
In the meantime, it's by the Youtuber Nirre. Here you go! Youtube.com (this link will actually take you to the video, not just YT's main page)
I'm not sure. From what I've seen, everyone has just been leaving the artists under the credits and then calling it quits. They probably don't care as long as you don't claim you made the music or try to make money with it. You can ask if you want to play it safe, but there's a LOT of people to ask.
That and I haven't updated the credits list, so even then you'll have to hunt down the names yourself for some of them.
You are asking the wrong person. The only thing I can do is fiddle with music files.
I have seen videos, but I have no idea if it's a mod or photoshop.
@ another_temmie Everything inside the mod is already in .ogg format.
If you are trying to implement your own music, you will need to use a file converting program. I used one that's called, er... "Free MP3 WMA OGG Converter".
@Milesrain What kind of video are you thinking of making? To be honest, I was thinking of making some sort of showcase video, but can't find the time.
Sure, I suppose. If you make something I can use to advertise the game, send me a shout so I can use it on the mod's page and my other channels, okay?
That said, please don't implement any sort of advertising on the video: remember, none of this music is mine and I don't want to get any of the artists mad.
