ppl said the same thing about M&B warband. Then a modder made the napoleonic wars mod with cannons muskets, etc. Then it became an official addon. Anything is possible.

This no longer works, the ai is incredibly broken and spawns extreme amounts of units with no balance, and if you do manage to finish a game, it will crash. If the author isn't willing to update this they ought to mark this mod as "outdated" or defunct and warn people not to download it anymore.

Adding the multiplayer bots has literally made this the best MoW mod in existence. Though I hope cool scripted single player missions are coming, bots gives the mod endless singleplayer replayability.

The best way to play is to set the custom settings to 200 CP and 20000 MP, this gives you more units and quicker MP regeneration, allowing for faster and massive unscripted battles while still being challenging enough.

If you're talking about the Chaos Rising mod, they actually did not, the author was simply worried about getting one and ended it there.

They fell apart because the original creator was worried about getting into legal trouble. But they never got trouble in the first place.

Yeah I'd like a confirmation on this as well, you should seek out if Guardsman is willing to allow someone else to continue the project, but if he says no, then we should respect that.

Instead of trying to make Guardsman feel like a piece of sh*t for making a perfectly reasonable decision concerning his future, how about we thank him?

In the end I think this project brought a lot of people who are passionate about 40k and modding together, and we've all seen the potential that a mod like this could have, so maybe one day we may see a similar project take off again.

But for now let's thank him for the experience and be on our merry way.

Hey Guardsman I think you'll want to read this, based on a few complaints that there are missing lasgun/lascannon effects, I noticed what I believe may be the problem.

After comparing the current Version 0.1 with the Version 0.01 (the first older release), I noticed in the "interaction_entity" folder which houses the .inc files that control the weapon fx ingame, the newer 0.1 version does not have all of the .inc files, such as the human.inc. It solely contains the tank.inc.

But after copying it over from the old version, I now get to see the full lasgun, bolter, lascannon effects that I always saw in the videos of this mod, but never got to experience myself. I hope this helps. :)

Just a question but why don't you guys upload the latest version of this mod here? I've been eagerly waiting to try this for over a year, but only learned that it's been out for months through a youtube video of it!

Hey I get it you want the release now and you can't wait till then. We get it because all of the developers feel the same way, we want to play it, but we have to make sure it works first

...but don't start going off on people calling them SJWs because they don't agree with you.

That's just a fairly immature way of presenting any argument if you want people to listen to you.

As polloio stated they are just static models (they don't do anything) to be used in a future update as scenery for empire cities and such.

As for witch hunters they are being used. Most of the models you see on my profile are in the next release.

Hey thanks for making this mod, as someone who played a ton of RoDG, its an amazing mod, but what killed it for me was the endless crashing, it's a common problem that plagued the game towards turn 100, and forced people to quit campaigns and start new ones.

I have to ask does this mod fix those issues or offer more stability?
