At first I thought the mercenaries to the left had tripods, and was trying to figure out if those were sniper rifles or some sort of machine gun.
Anyway, I have to say that looking closely, the heads of the units to the far right, and the hats of the units on top seems disproportionate.
Superb looking thumbnails! Is this just going to be an art change, or also balance or even mechanic differences for mercs?
Are those new Korean ships I see? Uncertain what I'm looking out but looks cool!
Wonderful as always, looking forward to further updates!
Currently not an option, it was removed. Eventually that should return but no time soon.
Not sure about the stuck on 99% error, but to patch the game to 1.08 you'll need the new installer.
Not sure about the cow thing, sounds like a bug.
In terms of heradbles and the granary caravan however... Like the Indians with cows, goats (and other herdables?) for Egyptians will generate experience over time instead of being used as a food source.
As they don't produce food, the use of the granary caravan is to create goats and upgrade lots.
I've sadly only found the mod recently but I'm loving it!
Thanks for sharing and the amazing work the team is doing, eagerly awaiting more!
Not sure about some things but I can answer certain questions:
The Greeks (and other Balkan Aoe3-wars-of-liberty-mod.wikia.com civs) Don't have access to the mill. Instead, they can plant crops which over time will grow. At any point (Normally wait until they are done) one can 'delete' the crop or use the harvest option to allow villagers to gather from it.
Generally, when playing these civs I plant a 3x3 group of crops (Radishes/Beets at the start, Strawberries later). Every now and then and just make sure I have enough growing ahead of time. Alternatively, herdables and fishing are options once you run out of berries and huntables.
As for units spawning.. Well, it's simply the way it is depending on civ choice, age up, research and HC cards. For example the Greek dock is supposed to spawn fishing ships over time.
If you don't like it, either delete the units (free after all so nothing lost), builds more houses, delete the auto-producing structure or ideally just incorporate them into your strategy.
Specially for the church, the religion choice "Orthodox" Will spawn their priest to unit limit of 10.
I forgot to mention however that civs who can access the Hospital are able to reach a cap of 215 population through researches.
There have been several changes/new things:
Horse Archers were swapped to Dragoons (which get a Royal Guard upgrade instead), Oprichnik and Strelets were renamed, and they have new heavy artillery from the home city; "Tsar cannon". It is however similar to the Heavy Cannon.
Although not yet ready, it's planned for them in the future to have 2 more unique units and to have the passive defense of when a building of theirs is destroyed it will slow nearby units.
As with several other civs they gain access to the Hospital which comes with a variety of useful researches. As with other civs they also get the new safehouse which trains and upgrades spies, and religion options from their church.
Maximum population is still 200 by default.
Successfully updated to 1.08 now, thanks!
I had been hoping there was a simple fix and am relieved to learn I simply needed a new patcher. In the future I'll be sure to check the download section for later version of it as need.
I wasn't certain where to post on the forums since the 'installation error' thread seemed kind of dead.
I was wondering if someone might know as to why the updater isn't working for me. Initially I patched to 1.07 after downloading the mod with no problem, but since then... Well:
I.imgur.com
Game is closed and updater being run as admin.
I'm absolutely loving this mod, amazing work!
I was wondering however, is there someplace to report bugs other than just here in the comment section? Assuming there's time, I don't think it would hurt to set up forums on this site.
I'm not seeing "Fallback" as a game option. Am I missing something?
Awesome mod, so glad you shared it. Doubly so that it's now packed into THB.
One thing I've noticed is that as Space Marines, the "Rally" Ability (Adding a sergeant to a squad) never seems to auto-activate.
