THERE WILL BE A SUMMARY OF MY COMMENT BELOW THE MAIN BODY

I love this project and am looking forward to seeing it develop. There are a few criticisms I have though, totally constructive criticisms: The attention to detail you had in creating this game was amazing. The mechanics are excellent, everything feels great, looks great, all that. The sounds are great too except that when your character jumps, it sounds a little like he's dressed in leather and chains lol, but that doesn't bother me at all. I think the flashlight may have been glitching out for me - it wouldn't turn on. Though perhaps there were batteries you had to find that I just didn't see. Is that the case? If so, maybe you should make your character look at the empty battery compartment on the flashlight to make it more obvious. However, of course, if it really was a glitch then you should fix that. Another problem I had was with the voice acting. I don't always mind a monotone vocal delivery - for instance I think it's awesome in Silent Hill 2, and there were scenes in this game in which the voice acting fit as well - but most of the time, you or whoever is voicing the protagonist just doesn't deliver the emotion I'm looking for. Like when the ceiling fell into the garage and your character yells, "Jesus! This place is scary," it sounded like he was more uncomfortable than frightened. It's kind of like a nervous giggle compared to an actual laugh. Sometimes the nervous giggle works but I'd rather listen to the real thing, y'know? Okay, now one FINAL criticism, the setting. It's almost perfect, but has one fatal flaw: It should be easy to escape. Your protagonist could easily have busted a window to get outside more quickly, or climbed over or under the fence and escaped in a matter of, like... five minutes. I understand that for the sake of gameplay, you don't allow the player to do things that would help him escape that soon, and that's okay to a certain extent. It doesn't bother me a lot in this game because it's a short demo-ish version anyway. When you add onto it, though, (YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A SEQUEL OR LONGER VERSION, RIGHT?) maybe try to make the setting more realistically difficult to escape. Give us a reason to go in every room and give us a reason we can't go someplace whenever that area is off-limits.

OKAY, HERE'S A SUMMARY OF MY CRITICISMS:
1) Protagonist sounds like a leather-clad biker when he jumps (in my opinion, and this isn't even a problem)
2) Flashlight either glitching (not turning on) or it's unknown that we need batteries
3) Voice acting could benefit from more emotion in some situations
4) Setting would be easier to escape in real life but for the sake of gameplay, players are forced to take a long way

So, that's it! I understand that it's psychological horror and so you might make some unorthodox choices in developing the story and gameplay of this project, but I love that, and I more than trust you with it already. You don't have to heed this comment but it would be neat in my opinion if you did. Good luck with the game.
