Wow, awesome! Much want!
Any chance you'll upload this mod to steam workshop? I'm really looking forward to test it, but it's quite annonying manually updating mods each time a new version is released.
Please, someone create a StarWars mod for this. Like in StarWars Empire at War, but actually good.
Maybe some of the following:
- Give each ship weapons that only deal damage (aside of some flaks) to the ships on, above or under their level. For example, Dreadnoughts could only fight effectively against other Dreadnoughts, Battleships. They would probably get crushed by a bunch of small, agile war frigates.
- Topic overpowered: Make them more expansive, longer to built, maybe a special Yard or something.
- Topic "warp in and destroy the mothership": Just give the Capital ships some sort of powerful inhibitor field, so that nothing can jump in right next to it.
I, for my own opinion, would stick to the classic types of ships:
Frigates: Small, fast, either prepared for attack or support.
Destroyer: One bigger, faster, stronger version of the frigate. Deals great amounts of damage, but not really good at getting hit. Useful for "hit and run" tactics, surprise attacks, ...
Cruisers: The typical allrounder, can hit everything, deals good amounts of damage, can take some hits without going down. Has some supportive ability's like hangars, radar or repair stations. Also some useful flak arrays to protect to docking ships. Should be the main ship in every fleet.
Battleships: Should be clear, or? Some big motherf*****, deals great damage against other capital ships, but gets fu**** up by destroyers or a pack of frigates really quick. Never use them without support. Mostly no supportive ability's.
Dreadnoughts: Some sort of steroid-Battleship, more weapons, more armor, more dakka. So expensive and such built-times that you should be glad to have at least one out on the battlefield, but if the enemy see's it, they.just.run. But remember, these ships get blasted away really quick by some fast, agile close-distance ships like destroyers or frigates. As with battleships, no supportive ability's, no hangar, no nothing. Just ship and weapons and weapons and ... well, engines.
So, the point of all this is: Bigger the ship, bigger the weapons. But big slow weapons can't strike small fast ships (imagine shooting at a ship the size of your shell), so you just can't rush with tierX ships. Even if you could, they are so expansive and take such time to built, at the time you got two of them, the enemy would already have crushed you several times.
Sweet! Barrel could also be used for UEF.
Am I the only one around here who thinks this is arty from Ground Control?
Reminds my of Ground Control. Check it out!
Like this one really much, just simple and clean. Not wasted with 2000 missile pods.
Sweet, can't wait to see you're t3 defences.
Guess you're right. If we can't get the Jagd/Königs Tiger as strong as it originally was, than i don't want it at all. Worst thing you can do is putting in an underpowered KönigsTiger.
Well how this problem got solved in ww2? The Jagdtiger (and tiger2) was horrible expensive and needed much more time in production than the allied tanks. Despite the fact they were unbeatable in tank vs tank battle, they got easily destroyed by infantry and airplanes.
Maybe ... Let it cost 5000mp, 1000ammo, 500 fuel and 2 minutes of production time. Should be only usable in late game.
What happended to the Jagdtiger (you removed it, simple), but why?
If you handle it "historical-correct", it might be a little overpowered, but i miss him. :(
We could use some sort of scout outpost/turret to increase the view range.
Your model looks fantastic as always, burnie. Keep up.
This thing is awesome. Put it ingame as a superheavy cruiser. Summit v2.0.
Is there a way to make a new rocket movement? The old one doesn't look reaaly great ...
On of the first screenshots about SupCom included a submarine similar to the russian ship you mean. It was something like the t3 strat missile launcher submarine (ace), but much cooler. Firing several nukes in a few second burst. :D
Ever thought of resizing your naval units? Compared to a tank they're way too small.
Assuming your ship is thunderhead size, this is a really BFG. :D
Cool model btw, need more of them. Maybe some small additional guns for low range self defence or some missiles for mid-range.
Don't we have enough tanks already?
How about some airplanes/gunships and navy?
Also some new Experimentals would be nice ( -> Flying Fortress/Aircraft carrier <- ).
My first thought was: TRON.
Nice work btw, keep it on.
Wow, ******* awesome! One of the most detailed units for SupCom i've ever seen.
How about a t3 mobile nuke defense. Could be pretty helpfull out there.
Also a mobile "nuke" launcher would be nice (if it's possible to weaken the normal nuke down).
No problem with that, that was just on my mind :)
Yes, indeed ... try compare it with this:

I like this model very much, but maybe thats a little too much ... sometimes less is more, isn't it.
I dont think units must have that much blingbling on it, just watch M1A2, T90 or Merkava. Awesome tanks, mainly one-colored.
Maybe you wanna try something similar?
In the last time you put too much toys on your tanks, maybe you wanna try it more puristic?
About naval, pathfinding of the new t1 ships (i don't know if just UEF) ist really bad. They crash at every piece of land crossing their way.
Well, i think it might be cool if you hear the arti befor it comes. Just an opinion.
Afaik there is a sound when camera is over arti (mavor eg) and it is firing. You "hear" the shell passing by. Something like that ...
Btw: is it possible to include sounds to projectiles (shells and rockets)? would be interesting for long range weapons
V 1.16 is really great, did you finally include new missiles (discovered at the cybran t1 battleship, awesome unit btw)? :)
Very nice, i think you got it. :)
Cybran Stealth Fighter, isn't it?
Reminds me at the Tunguska-M.
Nice model though, just saying.
Maybe some little tweaks, rapid fire anti air laser/gauss cannon and some anti air rockets and THIS will be our beloved t3 anti air vehicle. ;)
Gauss cannon? Looks like it.
Whats its size? Like owen?
Nice model indeed ;)
That unit looks really nice. A real cybran demolisher, Brackman would be proud of you. ;)
Does it fire direct or in parabel like "normal" arti?
