eatmygame Blog

It's been quite awhile since I visit IndieDB and post something.

Instead of horror games, I will be working on a demo for a mobile game that is associate with local Malaysia Food. This game will be sort of like a restaurant management game, possible with some stories & some minor RPG? implemented. Who knows what this will turn out..but I am excited to work on this!

Possible a new game

eatmygame Blog

It's been a year since I last developed a game. Ideas and thoughts pass and go through my mind while I was thinking of creating a new exciting and immersive game. A few concepts already lingered around my thoughts that I always wanted to execute it as soon as I got the time and skills.

Instead of using UDK engine, I am planning to use the new Unreal Engine 4. It is possible that a new horror game can be on production starting the end of 2015.

Been thinking and visualizing the overall goals for the next upcoming game. Couldn't really sleep well as ideas and intense determination always kick in every midnight. The images can be very vivid at times, it struck me and give me a great feeling that the game will be done well. Who knows, it might even sell.

Noting down the important criteria, feedbacks and my past experience in developing a game. It has to have something that is unique in order to stand out. Now that's tough. So tough that it can spin your brain around like a washing machine while brainstorming and relating the ideas.

I will always remember the time I went for a talk by Richard Lemarchand, who was the Lead and the Co-Lead Game Designer of the three Uncharted series by Naughty Dog. He shared about his experience working with Naughty Dog and also ways to get creative ideas in developing interesting games. He also encourage game designer to travel more, learn and be open to anything. That's where ideas come in easily when needed.
