I'm not sure what cheat mode is or how to use it. Could It have been turned on without me knowing?

Try the v15.6.
It doesn't seem to have many bugs that stop gameplay.
unless you want to play real mode. I dont know if its a bug but in the new building your speed becomes so slow that, even when running, the janitor is faster than you.

Started playing V16 but The game crashes everytime I finish using the acid under the tree thing not long after the start of the game. Is there any way I can fix this?
