That was initially the plan, and I actually did mess up/improved some factors of the game in the finished state believe it or not. I was thinking of making a seperate story line, now that I think of it I might just redo this mod again but in HL2 or in Alyx (If possible) but that will happen when i'm not busy. And I did not know that the authors of such mods were attacking their critics, now that in my opinion is straight up ******** and deserves a thumbs down.

People miss the point about "modding" in general, it's all about fun and accomplishment, I mean this was my first ever "mod" if you will and I felt proud and happy each and every day when I worked on it. Hell I even voice acted some of the lines but yes people do see it as a **** mod nonetheless but in the end it's a modification to the game hence the word "mod"

I honestly forgot dude, did everything via inspect element and that's how I added the background back in 2016. Just look it up on youtube I guess.

I might work on the mod again, but as of right now I am mostly focused on VR stuff. Not gonna lie the mod was actually finished and polished. Playtested it myself even but unfortunately the drive got corrupted and I gave up on the project due to the anger issues that followed that day.
