C3Dit 1.7.0dev
After the texture disaster it took the better part of two hours patching the new texture code but now it works. When C3Dit loads a .3DF or .CAR file, it converts the 16-bit texture to 32-bit within C3Dit.
When saving back to .3DF or .CAR, the 32-bit internal texture is converted back to 16-bit. This also applies to textures imported and exported.
All images will convert to 32-bit textures internally and I plan to resize any textures back down to 256 width as the editor's goal is to retain 100% compatibility with the vanilla games.
