There's a scale setting in the .xml files for each entry. I can't remember the exact name but I'm positive it has something to do with scale.

There may be issues caused by the new patch. I'm really not sure because I don't have the steam version. It was working fine before that, as long as the AI files were left structured as-is and not moved into the file suggested by the mod launcher. I'm trying to turn the mod over to somebody else so they can figure out what's up. To be honest I don't even mess with it anymore.

Hey guys, I'm in the process of trying to turn the mod over to somebody else. Hopefully they can fix the issues with the new patch. I don't have that version and I don't care to pay for the game a second time just to figure out what the issue is.

There is probably a conflict with the AI files if you dumped everything into the main folder tree without using the mods folder. I've experimented with moving the AI files before, and it always caused errors. I was never able to track down why. I'd suggest figuring out why running mods in the Mods folder isn't working. Do you have all the patches for the game? Did you download and try to use the EAW Mod Launcher available at: Indiedb.com ?

You might try the 1.09 beta, as I did rework some of the AI to get things running more smoothly. I just haven't done a lot of minor things (like the text descriptions) that I wanted to get done before a full release.

I'll look into that corruption ability. I didn't know it could corrupt the buildable Jedi.

The shield and turret placements depend on the map, and I'm pretty horrible with those. Maybe sometime down the road, but it won't be any time soon unless somebody wants to help.

The consortium may have a slight disadvantage in some places, but they have a huge advantage with the corruption income. I'm afraid to give them much more because the AI might be crazy good with more of those units.

If you can get it to work, go for it. Everything in the scripts folder and in the xml\ai folder are AI related. You'll have to remove or change back the parts that have to do with the consortium's black market, as I repurposed those equations and scripts for the tech upgrades. Prepare to be thoroughly frustrated during this process though, as it is quite complicated.

I think that's part of the win conditions for that GC map. I never touched that one, so it is the same as default.

Yeah that's the one. I played around with increasing the distance on this mod, but it became hard to even see the troops due to planetary haze heh.

You can set it up for tech level 4 max in the advanced options, and the AI won't build the Death Star. Unfortunately that also means that the huge capital ships won't be available. Keldalbe ships will still be available though. I'll look into disabling the Death Star with an optional file.

I upped the difficulty just a tad on normal, so let me know what you think. I backed it off a touch on hard because they were kicking my butt, but I think I need to bring it back up just a hair. How's the lag?

I figured it out. I had the R2-3P0 duo flagged as Land heroes and the AI was using them to attack planets. I changed that flag and the rebels upgrade a lot faster now. Going to see if I can get them to build more income buildings before putting up the next beta. I should have it up by the end of this week.

Looks like it is something that has to be flagged on the maps for it to work. It looks like the ACM guy tried to get it working at one time, then abandoned it. I didn't have any luck either. The game just freezes and the buildings never really show up. Sorry.

It's a known glitch in the game that we can't fix. The Thrawn's Revenge team made a script that you can run on your saved games to maybe unstick them, but it is iffy at times.

If you have a tendency to drag ground units from the ground on one planet directly to another planet, start moving them to space on the original planet first. That's not the only thing that triggers the bug, but I've noticed that causing it more often than anything else.

They do, they are just slow at it because they aren't building enough income buildings first. I reduced the respawn times for the droids at lower tech levels, maybe that will help. I'm pretty close to putting it beta 2, which should be much better.

It's odd. I'm still trying to figure out why the rebels aren't building more income and upgrading tech more quickly. Technically the rebels and empire use mostly the same equations. The rebels are just getting around to it more slowly.

Should work for all GC maps. I tried to make the AI less dependent on what it starts with, like the ACM mod is. I'm always tweaking it. Right now it's kicking my butt on hard mode, lol.
