You are actively converting me to Chaos.

Just because it's good heresy, it doesn't make it any less HERESY.
All heresy is to be treated equally, as in this could be simply changed to a light that is dark when amounts of heresy are low and lit when HERESY.
Actually forget that. Despite how I like ponies, that doesn't make this not heresy.
HERESY.
It's funny though.
There was once a time I would have screamed "HERESY."
There was a time when I would've screamed HERESY at this.
@Karstin, partially @TrashCan-Man23
If you REALLY want to get down to the extraordinarily basic core of the gameplay, then yes, you are right.
In the meantime, let's play Quake instead of Battlefield 3, they're really both going to be the same game, but BF3 has vehicles. I mean, you just run around with a gun killing people in both games. The only difference is that BF3 has aiming down the sights for accuracy, classes of guns, classes of people who use those gun classes and have special tools that complement each other to promote teamwork, and that BF3 has huge, open, 64-player maps that you have to somewhat coordinate with a couple of your teammates to navigate and accomplish objectives even though Quake has relatively small, closed maps and an almost complete lack of any need for coordination whatsoever.
I mean, it's all because BF3 won't have mod support that it will just be another Quake, but worse because Quake does have mod support. It'll just have better graphics.
(If you cant tell, internet sarcasm is strong throughout that long wall of text)
I'm going to take a guess that TrashCan-Man and, possibly, Karstin haven't actually played a Battlefield main series game, or even one of the spin offs more similar to the main series. I wouldn't exactly call BF "run and gun bs with vehicles."
My question is, using your logic, why you think Red Orchestra 2 is going to be so different from the Battlefield games. After all, in both games you're going to be given a gun and you're going to have to run around and shoot people with it. Just in Red Orchestra, you have to be more careful due to additional realism.
@Anyone: Bonus points to you if you read all this, you've now wasted a fraction of the amount of time I did writing it.
But you see, that's not WHY we say things like "Black Ops is a bad game." At least, not why I say things like that. It may be a contrarian opinion, but that is certainly not the reason. I say things like that because that is my opinion on that subject, which is simply based on personal preference, which does not include "opposes the majority."
As evidence, your post has negative karma, so my comment is clearly not contrary to the popular opinion of your post, even though I don't like Black Ops.
Unless you were trying to insult us by making ourselves think we were contrarians, and that a contrarian is not something you would want to be. In that case, it's original, but pretty much just as effective as a common insult on the internet, so you could have saved yourself some time and just used a derogatory word to insult the people who don't like Black Ops.
Hey, I just realized. If that's the case, then you chose to use something that not very many people think is the right insult to choose in a case like this on the internet. That means you think that's a better thing to say. That means your opinion is opposed to most people's. You must be a contrarian!
*le very late, and confused as to why I am posting a comment here*
No, it was looted; the Orks didn't build it. So it's an Orkified Titan.
I scrolled down for the comments...
Look at that Mars Pattern gun.
Am I a little biased towards it for being a Tech-Priest in DH?
Nah, it just looks awesome...right?
Minecraft's already great. I honestly wouldn't care a lot if they stopped updating. I would be disappointed, but I wouldn't mind too much.
I believe the analog stick and face buttons should be reversed.
I suppose I'll just do it myself, actually...
And the Aquila is a neutral symbol?
You have Ravenor, but not Eisenhorn?
Aside from that, very impressive.
Let me bring up the same argument I always like to use for psykers vs Jedi/Sith. Only this time, I went to the Star Wars wiki page on the Force to prove myself before making this assumption.
To use the force, one has to open up their mind to the world around them and use that power to pull crazy magic stuff. Especially the ones who believed in Living Force or followed the Light side, but we're talking about Sith here, so that doesn't matter as much. The Dark side, as I have just read, still requires [malicious] thoughts towards every living thing, and broadcasting these thoughts still leaves their mind open.
However, to be a psyker, and also to defend from a psyker, one must keep their mind very shut and hidden to keep it away from the dangers of the Warp, other psykers, etc.
The fact that a Jedi/Sith has to keep their mind open to use their powers, even though it's not all the time and they might have it only open just enough so that they could use the force, is their downfall, as no psyker could miss that opportunity to explode their mind. Especially not an extremely powerful one, such as the Emperor, who could probably break through any mental defenses a Sith/Jedi could raise anyway.
This is why, usually, psykers will win against their force-wielding Star Wars counterparts. If you have a crappy/meh psyker, he won't win against a Sith, but this is the GOD-EMPEROR we're talking about.
Come on. Really? Ultimate war?
Space marines are genetically superior to Terrans, have better armor, more powerful weapons that are pretty much good against anything, melee capabilities... just drop in 15 of them in a Starcraft match. They will win.
Alright, let's see.
Terrans have Firebats and Marauders and regular Marines, and all kinds of tiny vehicles.
In a Starcraft match, you usually get no more than 100 regular guys, I want to say, 5 Thors, and 5-8 medivacs.
IG have weaker guns, but consider the enormous amount of guardsmen there are. They seriously outnumber the Marines, just shoving in thousands of standard troopers to fight one battle. They also have better vehicles. You know, send one Titan in and MAYBE if the Terrans fly in tons of Battlecruisers they will win against that one Titan. Not to mention the IG have better specialists than the Terrans, like Psykers and the Commissars and Generals with bolt pistols and power swords.
Maybe the IG would have a problem with the Terrans' Banshees...
I think it was rather good for a movie of its kind. And not just because of ZOMG SPESS MEHREENS. Certain parts were rather stupid, but it all seemed to work somehow. The writing was somewhat predictable, though, as most of Abnett's work tends to take a similar direction. But at least all the characters were decent...minus the ones nobody cared about.
I can say that someone who has no idea of what W40k is would probably think this is a terrible movie, however.
Love the engineer death animation XD
I want a 20 minute version of this :P
1.7?
Did I miss something somewhere? I haven't exactly been keeping up-to-date with this mod...
I think what I'm really asking is, "What's in it?" and "Does it require DLC?"
"But sir, what about the Raid-missiles?"
Looks pretty good! DL'd the old PC remake of Space Hulk a long time ago; it was fun, and this looks more fun.
Sadly, I have too many games to play to play this mod...(confusing, but grammatically correct, my fellow grammar nazis.)
But someday, I will download this mod and enjoy it.
