Secured my vote for MOTY. keep up the good work, love seeing mods that are completely different from HL like this.
This mod will feature some cut weapons and locations from HL2, however no characters. The story of Outcast is being written completely from scratch, and is a completely different story from any official cut/retail Half Life game. We reuse the cut wasteland concept, deriving heavily from Marc Laidlaws vignettes. Same with concepts such as the Air Exchange, and our City 6, which is heavily inspired by 2001 City 17.
Yep, it’s as simple as putting all of the zip contents into the CT root folder
Where are you stuck at? You extract the contents of the zip into your Coterminus folder. The maps will be located in the Bonus Maps section of the main menu. Hope this helps
Man, things are looking great here! The map improvements are wonderful and really breathe new life into the mod, giving it a much more unique and special feel. Loving the new Xen models too, you can never go wrong with a little bit of Xen infestation. The HUD.. well, you know how much I love that HUD. Keep up the great work, looking forward to the next release!

The wasteland child is a controversial decision for obvious reasons. But I do not think it is too far. The world of outcast is a dark one, the wasteland is an evil place full of terrible things that happen daily. Children play an important role in outcasts rebel camps, so it would be very obvious they would be affected by the headcrabs. We are not going to throw zombie children at you and go “Now, blast away!” No. They will serve there roles in the story and will be used when their impact would best suited the story. Remember, the child zombie will make up only a small percentage of the new enemies we have planned.

The gas flyer is its own complete enemy. It's currently about 85% done code wise. The xen fauna you're referring to is just decorative though.
For sure. Those are very unique weapons and since the mod will include both the cremator and combine guard in later chapters, you will be able to use their weapons. Thank you for the support!
Exactly. We've all seen and played with the beta and retail weapons for many years now, so I think it would be nice to see some new weapons
Most source mods take a long time. And these were guesses from when I was the only person working on the game. It might be sooner, or it might be later. Hard to say right now, but a demo with chapters one and two can be expected next year.
