Hello, everyone. I'm a Texan that is fascinated by anything Soviet and Stalker is my favorite series of games, bar none. With each new mod it becomes a new game. When I'm depressed, I play Stalker. When I'm bored, I play Stalker. When I'm happy, I'm playing Stalker. Thanks to kind and talented people like david.m.e. and the rest of the modders, I feel like I have a home here. None of this would be possible without this glorious set of games. Oh, the bio stuff? I'm a writer, three times divorced and happy being single. That's pretty much it. Favorite games are Stalker, Fallout 3, Dragon Age 1&2, Mass Effect, (only played the first), Far Cry 1&3, (hated 2), Divinity: The Dragon Knight Saga, Lost Odyssey, Red Faction Guerrilla, (playing Armageddon now), Deus Ex, (original and new one), The Suffering, (best horror since Silent Hill), Silent Hill 1,2 and 3. I love RPGs, I've played games like Morrowind and Oblivion. Skyrim didn't impress me.

Have finished the game and have really really enjoyed it.

The atmosphere is typical Bioshock. If you what I mean : )
This series have an intensive atmo, you can entirely immerse yourself in the Bio worlds easily.
All Bio parts are very interesting. Story, weapons, environment, enemys or skills. Everything is perfect. I only say Plasmid.

I only just got this, I avoided buying any games lately as I saved for a new card, I bought an AMD card and got Far cry 3, Crysis 3, Blood dragon and Bioshock Infinite with it. Apart from Far cry 3 which I already have I wanted all the others so I saved 70 quid (UK). Haven't had time to play more than half an hour of it though so I'm looking forward to it.

*SPOILERS FOR THE GAME, DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU'VE FINISHED IT!!*

Why am I posting about this game here? Because I'm about to play it and, thanks to the internet, I know what's going to happen. And I dread it. Why? Because in the game your character, Booker, gives his young daughter to slavers to pay off his gambling debts.
In real life, years ago, I signed away my rights to my only daughter when she was a baby because I was a miserable drunk at the time. My ex-wife had met and married a good man who wanted to adopt our daughter to raise as his own. I knew he would be the father I couldn't be at the time.
I still cry every Father's Day.
I have never looked forward to/dreaded playing a game before. This game is provoking conversations all over the world, you owe it to yourself to play it. Even if I dread it.
