Cheers man! :D
Hey I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yeah it was Greenlit a while ago in just 9 days, which is pretty cool and unexpected. Thanks for playing, I really appreciate it! :D
Awesome glad to hear it! Kickstarter will probably push me out of my comfort zone, but yes its definitely worth considering! :)
Hey thanks! I'm glad you like the mechanics, some of the combat elements do tread on uncharted waters, design-wise (and which makes the game so fun to develop in the first place). Much appreciated! :D
It remains to be seen if I can actually afford putting in the time & resources required to make extra contents for it, right now its a bit too soon to say anything. However I definitely have thought about expanding the game someday, as it contains themes, ideas and mechanics that's very dear to me, straight from my childhood days playing the NES and SNES games :)
Cheers, and thanks again for your feedback!
Oh and I probably should have mentioned the game is now available to buy DRM-free on itch.io Onebitpunch.itch.io
Hi there! I would absolutely love to get the game on GOG, its a highly curated store and they are quite particular when it comes to games they're willing accept, so it won't be so easy to get in. We shall see! Thanks for asking :D
Hi sorry for the late reply, its just a straight release and there will be no demo. Thanks for asking!
Hi thank you so much! That's very kind of you to say and I really appreciate it. Check your inbox, I've just sent you a PM.
Hi thank you! Yes I did get your message, I just sent you a reply :)
Hey thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate it. I'm a fan of roguelikes myself and you have made some great points, not every indie game needs to have roguelike elements or random dungeons simply for the sake of trend or a way to extend a game's replayability. It just happens that I wanted to make a particular game that focuses on real-time action, a main character that looks & feels solid to control, and that has always been the goal from the start. Thanks for your support, I'm glad there's still an audience for these type of games! :D
I would love to get it on Steam! My initial plan is for the game to go up on both itch.io and Desura, but lately I've been thinking about greenlight as well. Having it there would be pretty neat.
Thanks! No the game is not procedurally generated, the gameplay is actually much more arcade-like. All rooms are predefined and there are no roguelike elements in the game. Cheers!
Hey thanks! Yeah that's a fire-enchanted sword, which gives 2 extra "burning" hits whenever it procs/triggers. There should be more news coming soon :D
Hi there, thanks for your questions! The game is actually much more arcade-like, with limited continues, quick checkpoints (you spawn back in the previous room after every death) and no save options. Rooms are all predefined, there are no roguelike or no complex RPG elements in the game (i.e. no levelling up). Price is still being decided and will be announced when the game is released.
