Hi Kr3m,

Understandably you can update the client manually, this patch just does it for you by connecting you to OpenSpy (Not DayenTech), as well as fixing the Ram Crash. The Game out of the box will crash at 1Gb of ram usage.

This patch isnt BS, Please read the Changelog next time

BWCC does include all these weapons. We didnt reupload these weapons as the complete collection is the main base of operations. BWCC will be uploaded to Moddb once completed.

We have the mod only available on our discord until we are finished, as we have plenty more to add. Discord can be ran through the browser and you do not need to download it to download the latest version of Ballistic Weapons Complete. One day, once we are done or happy with the finished product, we will release it on ModDB.

Hi, once the mod has been downloaded, just make sure the mod is installed in the correct ut2004 directory, such as the animations are in the animations folder ect and you should be good to go

Hi lad!

Glad you love all the insane models! Fully community driven these days ;) .
In regards to your question, we use blender for modelling and animation and both are pretty simple to pickup and work with. I would highly recommend finding some blender modelling tutorials on youtube and going from there. Both Modelling and Animations are easy to learn yet hard to master, has taken some members of our community alot of time to learn the intricate details. Maybe some day soon we could very easily get your models into the mod! Hope this helps you :)

A ModDB release won't be for a rather long time. This is due to the fact that we are constantly updating the mod and have no plan on stopping. By having the download available on the discord, not only can we grow a community but we can listen to the community feedback and improve the mod to their liking.

The photo in in the article picture is an old model that we lost a long time ago, just an image i had left on my pc at the time 😂. Skrith Wars is the main interest in this article and the main interest in a few modellers within the community. The ideas where there but the models needed work.

1. AMP is short for Amplifier. To Amplify a weapon in more than one way.
2. Balance is defo on the top of the list when it comes to gameplay. The usual benefit the amp would give would be to add some form of elemental effect to the bullet, such as freeze or corrosive. For a freeze bullet, it would slow the enemy player down, but at the cost of a set amount of damage per bullet. For Corrosive bullets, These may do more damage to shield, but less damage to skin. Or the other way round, whichever makes more sense balance wise.

Nothing wrong with nitpicking ;) . Always up for taking interest in peoples opinions about how weapons should work.
1. The damage matches the unsilenced XK2 and the fire rate is faster, but not fully automatic. We have chosen to rename SMGs to PDWs as it widens the spectrum for what weapons we have in that selection. Such as small bullpups, submachine guns and even extra heavy hand cannons.
The weight of the PDW matches the pistol to allow for that little extra movement unavailable to the SMG, while matching the damage of an SMG, almost to bridge the gap between the Smg and the pistol.

2. The tech sniper is still in the works. The model itself derives from the R78 sniper rifle from ballistic 2.5, matching its size in both mag capacity and size of bullets. Knowing that the R78 sniper rifle loads up on .42 bullets, I assume that the tech sniper would be very similar. This may change as we want to work on some elemental shots similar to that of the R9A1 instead of regular bullets.

We do not take offence at all, keep hitting me with all these questions ;)

Hi Paul!
We Currently have a Cryo Grenade attached to the Mars 3 Assault Rifle, and a few weapons that shoot ice bullets that slow enemies down.

For future weapons using Cryo Attacks, we have a Cryo Flak Cannon, which will use slow down mechanics and gun freezing locking up, in the works; Model is ready, Textures and Code are not.

Hi lad.

When it comes to Ballistic Blood, the mutator has not been changed since the release of Ballistic V2.5 which was over 10 years ago. The current version of ballistic blood uses static meshes to imprint blood on the walls and floors. Hence why some blood may not fully co-operate with the environment.

We have plans to look into this, not only improve performance but to reduce the number of static meshes used and go with more coded effects that dont rely on static meshes.

Regarding UT2004 and UT3 BW, i have no input on making that in the first place, all credit goes to the runestorm team.

Hi Freeman!

We are working on alot currently, including the recoil system which is almost finished and in place! Defo worth a playthrough 😉.

There is a list of new weapons and weapons with new models coming to the mod in the coning updates, wouldnt expect the xmb to have a new model straight away but it is certainly on the to do list 😊.

I understand where you are coming from in regards to aiming down sights. The reason the "scope" button is a hold down until fully in sights is due to timings of different weapons. With light weapons, aiming down sights is fast while with heavy machineguns, aiming down sights time can be alot longer, which is easy to cancel out of just by releasing the sights button. Having a instand sights button will reduce the reliability of cancelling out of aim down sights. Hope this is easy to understand.

Sights behaviour has changed alot on the "Complete Collection", as all weapons have access to sightfire animations which make it easier to aim and with the new recoil system in place, aiming is essential, but not a necessity.

Hi bud!

Hope you are enjoying the new release! There are a few weapons missing from the collection as we dont like adding recolours of existing guns to the mod. To overcome this, alot of recolour weapons will not be added to the collection but may get a new model in a later update. The minigun is one of the few we have a new model for. Just need to get a texture on it and some code and itll be finished ;) . It may not be next update, but it is on the to do list. Hope this answers a few of your questions.

Been very busy with work and updating the weapons with the new recoil system coming in the next update. Apologies for the late reply.

It was my intentions to upload the mod once it vad reached V1.0 since it would have been the last update. But since we have plans to overhaul alot of the current weapons with changes to recoil and mechanics, we will be keeping the download only available on discord, so that people can ask for help when bugs arrive and get a fast answer. The final version will make it to moddb. Also gives me tiem to write out the mod download page for moddb, since i still have to write it. 😜

The SPAS-12 has had a full new set of reanimations. It was needed and looks alot smoother than before. It is shown off in the video above. Regarding weapon slaps, in newer animations for new weapons, i am starting to incorporate some more complicated reload animations that look cool and are pleasing to the eye.

Hi Lad. Will only be remaking animations for the weapons that need them. Many of the 2.5 weapons have already got new animations to assist faster play, such as the Deermaster and the M46 Red Dot Sight. Apart from these additions, we have no plan to do any animations for any weapons, unless needed. What weapons specifically were you hoping to see a reanimation from? Would love to hear some suggestions :)
