Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Game review

Very nice game, spooky atmosphere and a really awesome spine chilling experience each time you play. Much scarier than the first game however much harder (Took me about an hour to beat night 2 of the demo + the same amount of time to understand how to actually survive)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The good things are that the jumpscares are well done, the graphics are great, the atmosphere is wonderful, Chris Walker freaked me out quite a lot and I'm going to make this a little bit of a long sentence, there were a lot of scares in the beginning. Then when it started to get a little boring, new scares came in to make the experience better. The music is also well done, the ambience tracks were indeed creepy. The not so great things were that things were sort of starting to get a little repetitive but the amount of scariness in the game didn't change which is what I loved about the game. So despite a few of the things getting repetitive, this was a great game.

9/10 Great!

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Game review may contain spoilers

Okay, I'm going to change my review.
My rating used to be 10, now it's 9 and here's why:

Good things:
-A great horror experience
-creativity
-jumpscares
-ambience
-Very scary
-Super well designed
-All right and creative puzzles
-Great atmosphere
-Good story line
-intense chase scenes
-Great music
-Well made sounds

Bad things:
-Some puzzles are extremely hard
-Things are confusing and cause me to get stuck
-A few bugs
-Texture glitches

So first of all, I was in the laboratory and I tried to place the chemical container down and it didn't work, the puzzles are really hard and some are confusing like in the nave laboratory, I tried using the container with the string and instead of saying: It needs blood first, it just said: Can't do this right now. Also, I was trying to make a tonic for Agrippa. I didn't know that you had to go to the room where the orb pedestal was and then get put into prison and then the path to the laboratory is clear. That's what I meant by confusing. Because of this, it make the game rather rage inducing and reduces the scariness in the game because of the anger. I played amnesia for more than an hour and made just a bit of progress for the Nave part. But the game is actually really good, I have to say. The level design is really good. I think my favourite room is the gigantic room where the orb pedestal is. Many things about it are just great.

Engine review

The editor is okay but it has many problems with it. For example just today, I put down a ladder area and the Player wouldn't climb it. At first I realized I didn't even save my map so I tried again and he still wouldn't climb it. Next, the editor crashes a bunch. To be honest, I have no idea how you were able to create amnesia the dark descent, penumbra, all that stuff not that they're bad games, they are amazing games! Third, I type something in the .hps file and it doesn't work. It's written specifically in the in the .hps file and the game should follow it but, no (that's actually not really a problem with the level editor, just a problem with the game). In general, the level editor is so fricken aggravating. I don't know if it's just my luck but almost every single time I want to do something new, I run into a new problem. Once, I put a script and I added a chemistry pot and no matter what I did, the player wouldn't pick it up (WTF?!?!) I get fed up with the editor almost all the time it's unbelievable. That's not all I have to say. Scripting is fun to do and it's awesome that you have given people the rights to create custom maps! Using the level editor is quite easy apart from the problems I've been having but yeah, that's what I have to say for the editor.

Game review

This game really did bring a tear to my eye. The tsunami in San Francisco
was truly devistating and by making this game just shows that you really cared about what happened. Yes it's a short game but it's still worth the money. Also the music was gorgeous, the game was beautiful and I wish you the best luck with the charity.
