I'm sad/mad that NMRiH will never be on the list again unless it gets 1st place (we placed 2nd last year)

Glad to see my team (No More Room in Hell) got an Honorable Mention!
That model is actually from 2007 it hasn't changed much! we don't really have any dedicated character artists on the mod to help us create new ones. The crawlers will be fixed in 1.10!
Zombies don't respawn if you clear out an area already.
Ah yeah I know what you mean with the FAL sights -- they are fairly accurate to real world, just takes a bit of getting used to!
I find it crazy that some devs don't interact with the people that play their games... it helps them make a better game. Sometimes it's just the little suggestions like yours that can really make the experience shine, something you'd otherwise miss without that input from the players! On top of that, you guys are generally speaking a pretty cool bunch.
Because children are terrifying.
We're considering adding it to the Ruger 10/22
New character animations are in the works, so are custom player hand models!
It isn't a v58, it's a CZ858, that's what the civilian version is called here in North America.
I don't know Riley, I think that "semen-deprived butt pirate" is pretty slick.
I made it in Photoshop? lol
I spent actually quite a bit of time playing TF2 with it (one of the only games I bothered to install on my Steam Machine lol) and after the initial jarring offset of getting used to the new input method, it was actually pretty rad. It wasn't perfect, but it worked quite well. It performs better than a standard controller but still not as precise as a mouse and keyboard... but it will get there..
One point I kept bringing up at Dev Days was that I believe that Valve doesn't even know how to use this controller properly, and that is part of the reason we were there was to give them our feedback as developers and to help them figure that mystery out.
I think that this controller will end up being soemthing unique that functions distinctly from a KBM or from a controller. It's just a matter of time to see how that ends up playing out :)
No, all maps offer achievements
If it doesn't take out the zombies it's because they didn't sufficiently take enough damage to the head to kill them, so the damage was either blocked or absorbed by other zombies, or collision objects (like a wall, vehicle or other prop) that happened to be in between.
we know lol it's more work than it seems.
We are already adding NON-PLAYABLE soldiers to the game.
The US Army does not widely field the SCAR. The SA80 is in production.
We're working on it. I know you hear this a lot but we really are. We (read: me) have been incredibly picky about how they look and behave.
We ship with more maps than most games that cost money do lol
Ugh, come on. Really? You're one of THOSE?
Well since no one else bothered to make the remark, I will:
One day?! MARK IT ZERO!!!
None of this will matter as of tomorrow lol
not necessarily directly compatible. We'd probably use our generic base mesh and build a "charred" body from it, since it's already set up to use in-game :)
Yeah, that's my fault. I'm a dummy and committed a test set of animations to our dev build to show these guys, and it for some reason got pushed to our Steam build. It'll be reverted until they are ready!!
we currently don't have the art for this, but that would be the plan!
cross platform play!
