It's on ice for now as we focus on finishing GoD Factory: Wingmen, but we will come back to it eventually, that's for sure!

Thank you very much for your assistance :-)
Thanks a lot for the info. I know I am in no position to make demand, but if you could try running the game without a dual monitor setup and confirm if the issue is still present or not, it would definitely be appreciated.

Sadly, there is no way to switch off VSync for now.
Is there multiple monitors plugged to your computer? We have bugs with dual screens causing an issue similar to what you describe. Any specs you can provide will help us identify this elusive issue and fix the game.
We've moved to Unity for our next project and it's working wonders for us!
Considering that the game was made using XNA, which is made primarily for Windows, and that we have no development experience in Linux, it would be hard. But the hardest part would be to find the resource to put more time in a port for Brand: the game was not financially successful, and thus we need to move on to a new project in order to survive as a company.
There is no plan for a Linux version of Brand. We don't know how the game could have come up in Linux games, it doesn't appear there for us.
Can you send me an email mentionning your issue and the gamepad model you are using? We will look into this and try to find a solution.
Being a small team, we had tested the game with just a few different models but could not ensure a compatibility with every possible controller. We did not observe the issues you are describing with our own gamepads.
It's great that you could find a solution and I am relieved to know it wasn't a fault on our part. We hope that you'll like it!
It might be related to Windows Media Player being uninstalled/deactivated since the XNA framework uses it to play music.
THere is no armor in the game, although there are ways to increase your max health. You can block though and with practice you can block any attack if you have the right timing.
The game takes about 5 hours to complete the first time and has a very high replayability since there are a lot of different skills to explore and they have a big impact on gameplay.
Can you get in contact with us by email so we may try and troubleshoot this issue?
Glad you enjoy facing challenges and conquering them ;-) On our side, drawing attention away from DIablo 3 is our "hardcore difficulty" right now, glad we succeeded with you!
You have no idea how glad we are that people are enjoying the game :-) The next one will be even better I'm sure!
Thanks! And you can choose between normal (which is still hard) and Hard (which is very hard) :-P
It is true that by not staggering monsters when we hit them, we lose some of the oomph factor, but it was a design decision. We did not want our attacks to interupt enemies to make planning and timing more important. Try out the demo and see for yourself if you like the game :)
Here you go!
