Darn, that sounds like a version mismatch, but if you definitely have the right version then I'm not sure. My advice:

1) be *absolutely sure* that the mod file is named "Assembly-CSharp" with the file extension ".dll"

2) make sure you leave "Assembly-CSharp-firstpass.dll" in place

3) try starting over with a clean install of the game

Good luck!

Hi, unfortunately this mod does break controller support on Mac and Linux, controllers should work on PC however. Disabling the mod using the instructions in the readme should allow you to use the controller again. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry, but you do need to close out of the game to toggle invulnerability on and off. I think there's another mod available somewhere that lets you do this in-game, but I haven't looked into it because I don't actively play the game much anymore. Good luck with Grimm!

I haven’t tested this version specifically for that (I already have most of the achievements, so it’s a bit difficult) but previous versions have worked with achievements and I have no reason to believe that that has changed.

Did you purchase the game on Steam, or from another place such as GOG?

Please follow the instructions in the README file. Specifically, make sure you have appropriately renamed the dll after copying it to the installation folder. It must be named "Assembly-CSharp" in order to work. If you have already done this and it's still not working, let me know and I will troubleshoot with you.

I'm sorry to say it but you may be out of luck. As far as I know this will only work on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Yep! You will still get achievements while the mod is enabled. Steel Soul 4 everyone :)

Yes, you can! I mentioned elsewhere that I probably won’t support beta updates as a rule; otherwise, my plan is to put out a version of Invulnerability for each major update as long as the game is still going (and as long as they don’t change the code to make my hack impossible - that’s not very likely, but it is a possibility). I may not always be super on the ball like I was this time - it might be a week or two before you see a new Invulnerability after an update - but I do plan to support each new version as they come out, yes.

Make sure you're using the correct version of Hollow Knight! This file ONLY works with version 1.2.2.1. You can see the version number in the bottom left corner of the main menu.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I'm not able to test on Linux, so there's not much I can do. Are you sure you have version 1.2.2.1 of Hollow Knight installed? This file ONLY works with that version.

There's now a 1.3.1.1 version, enjoy! Though just as a note, I probably won't make a habit of supporting beta versions.
