Hey guys, I found some time this afternoon and will make a release of what I've got so far on the mod. Though it won't be bug tested or anything else, but still playable.

Release will be on TWC.

Hey there, thanks for your support! As for your question, that is hardly to say at the moment. I still have to implement the events for about 6 minor factions. After that a lot of testing needs to be done. It will definitely take some time still.

Great, let me know if the issue persists.

Most likely the installation stops at before the mentioned file is installed.

So please follow these steps:
First go t the /mod folder and delete the complete Italian_wars folder
Then download all files from here: Twcenter.net
Put all files into one folder and run the .exe file

Could you post your folder structure to your sound folder?
I mean something like this: itlian_wars/data/sounds ..
I guess something went in the wrong folder ;)

Well, you just delete the folder, that should do the trick ;)

Hmm...
I'll guess it is about 80% finished.
Major unfinished tasks are:
Condotta-Script (though that one is done by 70%, but not implemented in the release)
New events for the minor factions
Testing, testing, testing, ...

Well, you are quite right. It is hard to keep your motivation up and set goals, achievable in a certain amount of time before you run out of motivation. I have always find it very helpful to set minor goals for the team for one week. Everyone could see the immediate progress made and everyone had a specific tasks, working on the vision hovering above. That way we made incredible progress in a very short time frame. Sadly though, my personal lack of time has now ended this project.

Pre-release will be an advanced version;)
