Stolen from Spring1944 mod!

Okay.. now I want the "Panzerabwehrlenkwaffe X-7" guided Antitank weapon.
Wich in fact came to use.

I feel bad for those Germans who got denied a Panther and need to ride this piece of crap. In to War. :D xD

Okay, the "E" Series was a developing series that's for what the "E" stands for. The "E" series was created to make parts easier to replace and more common. Guess the most enthusiasts should know. It was the name during the developing. For instance: BMW does have internal names for their vehicles: E30, E36, E46, E60.. and soon. These names normally aren't used in public, but people do, to make clear what vehicle it really is, during service or what eva.
But the "E46" is still called "3Series BMW" while the "E60" is called "5series BMW". Taking that as a company example. It would be more common to still use Animal names and just write the variant behind.

"Pzkpfw Panther III Ausf.X (E-XX)" :)
Pzkpfw --> Tank
Panther --> What kind
III --> The numbers after the vehicles was basically replaced by the (E-XX)
Ausf.X --> Specific variant of this kind
(E-XX) --> General Kind (For engineers, maintenance/Service, repairs (in order to get the right replacements for the vehicle))

The Idea itself is good. But the problem is, that I don't stay any chance against any of the AI enemies. I'm more a defensive player. I cap some points and than defend those(also its more fun than rushing and spamming). So I always try to defend than to spam and if I do it that way.. the enemy will pop up with some tanks and I have actually nothing than.. maybe a Panzer 1 and there was nothing to counter them. I'm a CoH BK mod player. I suggest to give more units to the player from start. Getting the points for those vehicles is already hard enough I guess.

I don't have any fun in spamming my units splitting tham trying to cap the points.. and than spamming tanks to kill the enemy. Well just me. No disrespect to the work!

No disrespect to the work on this mod. But this was the most stupid skirmish i've ever played on an RTS game. sry The Bot is just spamming ****. And It does have heavy tanks long before you can get your hands even on light tanks. Why making vehicles depending on time or flags? wtf?

The T-34s weren't a big deal for upgraded Panzer IVs

Sloped armour was used in Germany long before the T-34 came into action. Too bad the most don't know about it. Even the german Halftracks had an sloped design to keep weight down.

You don't need to penetrate a tank in order to kill the crew. That said the Tiger will gain the upper hand in an 1o1. Because of better accuracy and fire rate. The Tigers and in particually German tanks had an Lower MMP and NMP. That making them more mobile than Shermans, IS2, or Pershings etc.

The IS2 canon was poor didnt had the accuracy the Tigers 88 had. Also the 88 and the Panthers 75mm both had superior penetrating capabilities, the 75mm was even better. The IS2s advantage was the HE, it could pack a devasting punch. The IS2 gun was actually an Arty equpiment.

WOOOOW K2 Black Panther with another Name, so much win! Without the people of the western World, the K2 would never have existed. It does have some Korean parts. But the most advanced parts are still license build western parts. Leopard 2, Abrams, Chally2. Are old tanks. Give europe some time and they will do something really awesome. And sorry to tell you the reality.

Also don't forget that they try to make it realistic. And infact german stuff was simply awesome and even better. Only sufferd because of the economical ressources and hitlers stupidity and since this is hard to simulate in-game. Germans will always look OP in games if they try to make it as realistic as possible.

The Germans did accidently bombed London at night, they unloaded their eggs on the wrong place, because their navigation gone wrong. As answere Britain bombed Berlin and the Germans began to concentrate on bombing british citys, which was the biggest strategic fault of hitler, because that gave the RAF the strategic advantage which actually lead to the victory over the Luftwaffe, its good that this didn't happend in the 1949 mod! So the mod gains more reality in the "what if" perspective.

btw Rotterdam was also an accident the call to NOT bomb the City of Rotterdam simply reached the planes to late.

What is better, this mod or should I pay for "Iron Front: Liberation 1944"=?
I rather support modifications but what would be the better choice?

There are tons of Games were Germans always are on the shorter end and have far less equipment to balance the Games cuz the Germans are simply IMBA as long as you can't simulate economic-problems and easy brake-downs on hard engineered vehicles like the Germans had. For instance the Tiger II was made with poor materials. If they would have used the same Tank steel which found use on the first German tanks during ww2, they would have been even stronger.

You can't simulate technical breakdowns or problems in a way to make it fair. But the point is that all this stuff was available and that's what makes the Germans in general IMBA if you try to make it real and also just shows why the Germans lost ww2 in the end somehow.

I always get pissd by the calliope xD ^^ Nebelwerfer is cooler in other games, the accuracy of the nebel is not as good as the one of the calliope so that might do the trick in balancing.

Not to mention the fact that there were I guess 3 different version of Operation Sealion. One by Hitler himself one by the Heer and one by the Kriegsmarine. The Kriegsmarine wanted to Land on just one point in order to make a stable bridgehead and course while the Heer wanted to attack the British coast on a more coastal points so a bigger front. And for some reason Hitler mixed up both and both Kriegsmarine and Heer disliked Hitlers plan for Operation Sealion. But both version need full Air-superiorty which the Luftwaffe could have accomplished simply by not stopping bombing raids on the Radars and Airfields even while having heavy losses during those raids it would changed the end in favor for the germans ^^

For Tanks Germans would choose the Kramer X-7 same like the Kramer X-4 the X-7 could be used on planes "Air to Ground" Antitank missile or from Infantry against vehicles/tanks "Ground to Ground". As far as i researched the X-7 it was also available with a onboard camera. In the Bundeswehr the same system or something equal was used on special Tanks calld the "Raketen Jagd Panzer" or in the Bundeswehr called "Jaguar". Anyways the X-7 would be the right choice some of those saw little action in the east. There were also alot of X-4s produced but never saw action. Fritz X and other guided bombs I think I don't need to mention them.

If you can build this vehicle very very early its good against infantry and light vehicles. But for late game its nonsense somehow. Even against heavy German vehicles
Germany would also upgrade vehicle Engines and electric engines on their tank turrets. So that they are faster at any point. In other words to encounter the mobility problem German tanks always struggled with except some.
A Tiger II in 1949 (maybe Tiger II Ausf.C or better) would have better engines and transmissions and would be more mobile. Of course the Armor would also have better quality compared to the real Tiger II armor on the end of the war in 1945 (mostly because of resources, Panzer IVs, Tigers and Panthers -mostly early vehicles- had better quality steel then Tiger IIs back then).

So in other words the Allies really need something beyond the Pershing or SuperPershing. The P51 for example was Designed by a German, maybe the USA or allies take advantage of German engineers they captured somehow. And they are able to encounter new German threats this way.

The Panzer IV was one of the best workhorses of the Wehrmacht. In 1949 I could imagine that Panzer IVs still find their place in the Army. Upgraded with better Engines or maybe even Longer barrel. (Better engines could also result in better armor)

Also they experimented with Panzer IV turrets on Panther chassis since the Panzer IV turret does have a lower profile. They would mainly find use for urban areas and mostly as Anti-infantry vehicles. Of course with short barrel then. Maybe they would create different variants like an enclosed infantry transporter or something?

But not in the Main tank role or as Tank vs Tank vehicle.. except early Shermans.

Panzerwerfer would have been more interesting :D

The idea is cool but isn't that a stereotype to present the non political elite units of Germany as monsters full of "blood lust" come on...

Die Mod ist Klasse ich habe bisher noch keine Bessere gespielt. Mich stört nur der Bug wo soldaten und Panzer durch den Boden schießen... beim Höhenunterschied aber ich denke das ist ein Engine bug?

Ansonsten geile Mod.

In 1949, Germany would have fielded something between the STG45 and Bundeswehr G3. E-Series vehicles and of course Bombers like the Ho-XVIII as well as better guided bombs.

Also Germany would have fielded the Kramer X-7 Guided Anti-Tank rocket. Vehicles like the Ratte would have been canceled in favour for the "Z-Plan" Battleships like H42-H43, H44 was just a concept but possible. Planes like the "Volksjäger" would have entered service on carriers, the Me262 would have been obsolete in 1949. Ho-XI +modifications and / or other concepts would have overtaken the Me262 role.

Vehicles like the Maus would have been replaced by the Adler E-100 (the Maus would have been canceled very early as well as the Adler E-100) or rather by the Adler E-90 with 1500hp engine. Also heavy vehicles like the E-100 and E-90 always would have been supported by Panzergrenadiers and IFVs like the "Büffel" E-50S concept. As well as the SWS hanomag. Infantry would carrier body amour and more advanced nightvisions including better camos and general equipment. Nuclear weapons were only support by some people in Hitlers Germany, same like chemical weapons hitler would have canceled the nuclear bomb if he would have seen the results. Note Germany was the only country which didn't used chemical weapons against enemy infantry.

Anyways, just my thoughts.
