If you bought the game on steam i would suggest that you change the launch options of the game to the mod path of RaW (RaW manual will explain this in greater detail in the 'Steam Installation' section) and launch through steam, if that doesn't help the autosave may have saved before the crash or you would just have to save more frequently I'm afraid.

Well I would be your 'buddy' and play if you wanted. And not sure what you mean about your error, I've never heard anyone have that before. Maybe you just uninstall the game and reinstall it, then everything should be fresh & working.
